Tonight is a rainy night, the cold breeze brought by the unpleasant weather condition has yet to leave. However, it is already past 6:30 in the evening but Cali who just left from school still hasn't arrived near the bus stop where he always get his ride back home. For a graduating college student like him, it is just a normal thing to have an overtime at school. The moon is not able to bring light to his path but thanks for the street lights that he can clearly see his surroundings and also for the vehicles that are just passing him. His raven black hair makes him fit in the dark along with his current lonely face. Cali is continuing his walk to the bus stop until a loud voice reached his ears. "CALIIII! Wait!" He knew it was a girl's voice but he did not stop, instead he kept his pace and his eyes forward. He knew that the girl is running and she will just catch up to him within 3...2...1... "Wooooh! It's so cold isn't it?" Instead of answering, Cali just nodded his head. Who exactly knew what's he thinking? "Are you always like this? Hey... It's my first time to commute because my father said the driver that's supposed to fetch me has an important matter to attend." "Hmmm, I'm also wondering why. You're quite- no, you're family is really powerful so how come that no other driver came? Do you only have that one driver?" Finally Cali spoke and the girl exclaimed because of what she heard. "Maybe you're right but I said I will just take the public transportations. I haven't experienced one so I think I need to." Even for a college student who has no experience with using public transportations like the train, taxi, or the bus may find it hard but who cares? These two are not even related with each other so there is no reason for Cali to be bothered. Both of them are holding their umbrellas. Cali who has a height of 5 meters and 9 inches standing beside this girl whose only two or three inches shorter than her. This girl's name is Ria Morwen, the last name only is enough to make anyone follow her every words because her family is one of the benefactors of one of the two powerful guilds in the Alynthi Domain. Places with the name Domain is like a continent but is just smaller. "I'm going now." Said Cali upon reaching the bus stop together with Ria. Ria only smiled at him and waved her hand before taking a sit on one of the unoccupied chairs in the bus stop. There are buses that can take you to where you want to drop but the pay is higher than the normal ones and that is what Ria is about to use because if she will ride normal bus, the bus stop where thay will drop her off is still far away from her house that's why she chose the one that will drop her in front of her house. "!!!" "Hahaha!" "Oh! Really!?" Just as Cali is about to enter the bus, he heard the voices of other students that are also from his school in the back. When he turned to see who they are, someone just grabbed his backpack along with him until they get far enough from the crowd because they do not want to gain attention. All the people in the stop are already inside the bus that is about to leave except for Ria who is still sitting outside and having a hard time making a decision whether to follow where those brats took Cali or not. Every bus stops has the outer and inner waiting area and the outer waiting area is where Ria is sitting and the inner area is where Cali is now. There are no one in ther except for him and these students who drag him inside. The place is wide enough to accommodate 70 people and there are also chairs. "W-what do y-you want?" Asked Cali with a trembling voice. Then one of the students laughed and forcefully grabbed his backpack. *Tear The backpack is torn because Cali held it and did not give to the one who grabbed it that made the backpack got torn. Everything inside his backpack scattered in the ground while those students are laughing while watching him picking all his stuff. *Pak! "Ooooh! Does it hurt? And oh, what's this?" After the slap, Klyne, who seems the leader of his gang picked a square-shaped object that seems to not noticed by Cali. The slap left a mark on Cali's face and it's like burning his cheek, this made him angry but what could he do? He's just a plain, ordinary, and weak college student that is always being bullied by others. All he can do is to grit his teeth wishing that someone would punch Klyne's face but he also pity himself for being like this. How can someone punch Klyne if he cannot even do it by himself? Ha! "Give me that back!" Cali stood up and tried to grab the box but Klyne is fast and threw it to his friends while laughing at him. "Got get it if you can, dimwit! Hahahaha!" Before Cali could even move his feet, someone just kicked his right leg then his left leg that caused him to roll over. "Dude, open it... Let's see what's inside." "Why do we need to open it? It's not like someone like him has something valuable." "Just open it." Cali felt so angry, no... Angry is not enough to describe what he is feeling right now. 'That is very important to me... Please... Please give it back...' He said to himself. The kick must be so strong that he cannot even stand, he's sure that his bones are already broken. While watching the group of Klyne having their joyful time, he is already cursing inside him that he will never forget those faces. All faces that are in the school where he is attending, every one of them, he will never forget their smiles by seeing him suffer for their own joy. He is always bullied by Klyne and his friends, and even some students in his school but what can he do? He is alone, he's just alone. 'I wish I could die... If I die, I will hunt you all... I don't want revenge, I just want something that will make them never bully me.' He said again in his mind. "Beat him!" Said by Klyne. He opened his phone snd readied it's camera before his friend beat Cali like there is no tomorrow. *Bam! *Kick! "S.....top... P-please..." Cali's voice is so weak because of the beating he is receiving right now. Someone just kicked him on his abdomen that made him puke and hard to breathe. His face is swollen and one of his eyes is already closed. Everything around him is spinning and just before he lose consciousness, he again heard that girl's voice. "f**k YOU KLYNE! I SURE WILL BEAT YOU TO DEATH!!" *BAM! And then everything went black without him having any idea of what happened next. *** "Mom, I'm... I'm sorry! Please live mom, I can't take it if you die! I don't have anyone else except you! Please don't leave me, m-mom." *** "I also want to be an adventurer mom, a powerful adventurer so that I can protect you always. I will get paid more and I will buy you everything you want, and also your medicine." *** "I will become stronger than an X class adventurer." "Hahaha! Okay, son. His face is still in good shape, only his lips is bleeding and the black surrounded his eyes like panda. He was silent for a few minutes looking on his hands before he realized something. White bedsheet, white pillow, hospital gown, and everything around him is white. There is no need to ask that he is in a hospital because it is already obvious. He was disturbed in his thoughts when the door suddenly opened and a man wearing white entered the room. "You're awake, how do you feel? Do you feel something painful from inside?" "None, nothing is painful. I'm okay. Who brought me here?" "She's outside and because your'e already in a better condition that's faster than expected, you can leave tonight." Indeed, his injuries are healing faster than normal. He already knew it since he was a kid but never doubted something about it, he just thinks it's his unique gift. "Okay now, I'll leave and wait for your friend here..." The doctor left the room and few minutes after he left, the door opened again but a different person entered. It was Ria but upon seeing some bruises on her hand and her knuckles, Cali already knew what he did to Klyne and his friends. Afterall, Cali maybe bullied but he has a different brain and mind compared to others. He is not showing his intellectual ability in his class but there are times when he gets to show it when there are things only he can understand. He doesn't need to ask, all he need to do is observe and use his common sense. "T-thanks... by the way." "Hm hm! You're welcome, I'm sorry. If I just followed you earlier nothing would have happened." Said by Ria before taking a sit. Her long brunette hair is tied by an elastic hair tie and the way she do it made Cali somewhat attracted to her. She's so beautiful, anyone would be walking down the same path as her just to see her. Her white skin and nice body shape makes her a gift Cali wants to receive but he has no time for fantasy. No woman would want to be with a loser like him, that's what he thinks. "It's just okay, I'm already thankful that you brought me here. What happened last night is just normal, that's my everyday life." Cali said without even glancing at her, he is looking outside the window of the room. "So why does a member of a prestigious family helping me? I don't have anything to give." He continued. "Hmp! Do you really think because I helped you is I wanted something in return? I just don't want what they're doing. I can't watch or let them. Besides, I'm so sad by what you're experiencing in school. I always see you but that's the first time I helped you." And then Cali answered as if he heard nothing. "You do not have the obligation to help me anyway. I was born to be alone, to be treated like this. I have no family either, it's better if I die."
