Chapter 5

It was still 2 years since his mother passed away, he is also visiting his mother's grave often and brings the flower she likes.

"May I bring it home with me?" Asked by Cali while waving the book so that Brayan can see it.

"Oh no no no! You are not allowed."

"Why? I will return it immediately tomorrow morning. I'm not going to eat it."

"That doesn't matter. It is in the school rules to not allow students to take some books with them from the library outside the school." Said again by Brayan. Cali is already thinking of some way so that he can take the book with him. He cannot finish reading it while at school so he wants to take it home. It is like someone is telling him to finish reading the book.

"But because you're my bro, I will let you borrow it. Before you go home, I'll wait for you here."

"Nice... Thanks!"

Brayan turned off the computer after he finished what he was doing but before he could leave his seat, two ladies suddenly entered the room and stood at a wide space and looking at more than dozzens of bookshelves.

When Brayan saw this, he suddenly went in front if the two and asked.

"Lady- I mean, Ria. What brings you here? And you too, Michelle. I did not know you're still standing after entering a library." The girl beside Ria who is called Michelle is her friend and hearing the words Brayan said to him, she cannot hide the annoyed face of her.

"Is it always this quiet here, Brayan? Are there no students that stepped foot here?" Asked by Ria and Brayan scratched the back of his head before answering.

"Yeah, but there is someone who is regularly going here."

"Who is it?" Asked also by Michelle with w surprised face and Brayan just pointed his finger to Cali's direction.

"Him, since I were appointed, he is always here. Every free time of the day."

Michelle flipped her hair and went straight to Cali who did not sense that there are other people inside the room.

"You're quite the bookworm- ah?" Upon realizing who is this man, Michelle immediately stopped talking and stared at him with a bitter face.

"Aaaargh! You did not tell it was Cali. I thought there is still a guy who loves reading book. But to think it was him?" Michelle left Cali without even batting an eye.

"Aw! What was that!?" Michelle with a puppy eye while looking at her friend. She touched her arm which Ria pinched and is now swollen.

"You don't need to be so harsh, Ria. Aren't you guilty doing that to me?"

"Can you please stop being rude to Cali? He already doesn't have a friend, so just treat him normal everytime you see him." Said by Ria before smiling at Cali who is still busy reading the book.

The two girls continued standing there and has no plans on doing anything that's why Brayan decided to break the silence.

"So why are you here?"

"N-no... n-nothing, I just... I just came to see something." Said by Ria who is stuttering for no reason.

"Well did you see it? I can help you if it's a book." Brayan who has no idea what the two of them doing here, he is just thinking that they're looking for some book. But what exactly are they doing here?

Even Michelle, she also has no idea why they suddenly went here to such a boring place.

"Hey! You're disturbing me you know, I have a busy time." Said again by Brayan while looking fiercely at Michelle. What the hell is this man thinking looking like that to a beautiful lady?

Ria always had her hair tied with a black elastic hair tie as usual while Michelle keeps her blonde hair swaying and dancing in the air while she is walking. You can tell their personalities by just looking at how they fix their hairs as what Cali always say to himself.

Without saying any words, the two of them left. The library has a total of two floors, the ground and second floor. It is the most peaceful place in the school, although there are rare students that are still going here, the school administration is keeping a good care of this place and everything inside it.

*TING!

"AW! What the hell was that!?" Cali shouted while his two hands are massaging his head. Because of shock, Brayan immediately ran towards him to see what happened and saw Cali sitting on the floor while holding his head.

"What happened?"

"It's like a big bell rang inside my head. It's making me dizzy. Goodness!" Cali tried to stand but couldn't.

"Oh man, the world is spinning. What's happening with my eyes and my head?" Brayan did not feel any panick at all. He is just staring at him while still sitting on the floor because he doesn't knot what to do or how to help him.

"Are you sick? Or did you hit your head?" Finally, Brayan asked the correct questions.

"Yes, I hit my head. But I'm okay, I will not die." Brayan laughed because of the last words he said. Of course he will not die.

After a few minutes of sitting, Cali finally stood and already feeling okay and decided to leave the library because his class this afternoon will start in 5 minutes.

The time is 5:30 in the afternoon but Cali just left the library together with Brayan who does not have anything on him. Neither his bag or school ID.

Cali did not even bothered putting the book he borrowed in his backpack because it is thin and doesn't look like something from the library, it is just like a normal notebook if not looked closely.

"I'll see you tomorrow..." Brayan waves his hand before getting inside the car that was parked in front of them. Cali did not even said something and just walked to a different direction. Before he go straight home, he stopped at a flower shop where he is always buying the flowers he is giving his mother. The owner is already familiar with him and has the flower that this boy always buy.

He sometimes keep some of those flowers before being sold out because he knew that Cali will come to buy again. He also know that the flowers are for Cali's mother so sometimes he just gives them for free.

"Uncle, how are you?" Asked by Cali to the old man in a respectful manner.

"I'm good, you're going to buy again? I have new arrivals and also still fresh. I'll just give them for free."

"Hehe! I will pay uncle, I don't want you to become bankrupt." Said Cali while scratching behind his head.

Cali insisted to pay the flowers with excess amount. He gave 1 gold coin instead of just 5 silver coins and the old man hesitated if he will accept it or not but Cali immediately left after paying.

It is still 20 minutes before 6:00 in the evening yet it is already dark outside. Thankful the streetlights are all working. There are also many big establishments in the place and every night, it was like always a party because of the different colors of lights.

Some grocery stores are already closing but there are still many that stays open 24/7. The cemetery is in the opposite direction of his way home, he does not really care about ghosts in the cemetery everytime he goes there aven if it was night time.

"Hell if I care even if they're real..." He said to himself. He is holding the bouquet firmly and staring at the beautiful violet colored roses with white leaves. He understands why his mother liked it, it is really beautiful.

There are already different guards at the entrance and also those who are patrolling. The cemetery is wide and it's not unusual to have someone lost.

"It's you again? Hahaha! Well ghosts don't really bother you, kid." Said by one of the guards who are also adventurers. They always have a good conversation everytime he come here and they treat him the same as how they treat other people.

He really have a good impression about this guards because there are times that they will escort him in and out of the place.

"Want me to go with you?"

"Thanks, Sir. But I will just go alone. I will not lost." Said by Cali while smiling before entering with his phone's flashlight on. Although there are some lights in the place, it is not enough to light every part of the cemetery.

However, unknown by Cali that there are people following him since he left the shop and looks like they have a bad plan against him.

Just a few minutes aftee Cali entered the cemetery, those people also followed carrying something with their hands.

The guards did not bother anymore on stopping them, they just watched their backs as they disappear in the dark.

"This is my first time to see them here."

"I think their students from the Northern Institute of Magic."

"What? Then what are they doing here?"

"You dumb! It's a cemetery, it's obvious they will visit someone alive!" Said one of the guards with a hint of sarcasm.

After that, they again continued their own businesses.

Cali is standing in front of here mother's grave, it was written there ACE MOORFELLER. Cali Moorfeller is his complete name but his mother always keep the things about his father. For him who only lived with his mother, he is cursing his father for living the two of them causing for her mother to have carried the burden.

He also thinks that everything that are happening to him right now is because of his father.

He sat down on the grass, it was already cold and the moon is so bright.

While thinking of many things, he heard rustles so he looked around and found a group of people walking towards him.

Because it was too dark, he cannot see their faces. Before he could point his flashlight to them, a hard thing hid the back of his head.

*Punch!

"Did you know I was humiliated in the class because of what you did!?" Asked by someone in an angry tone.

"W-what are y-you talking ab- aaak!" Someone grabbed his neck before he could finish his words.

"That was the second time that Ria humiliated us because of a wimpy bastard like you!"

*Pak!

It was not a slap by a hand, it was a slap with the use of a book.

's**t!' Cali cursed inside his head because of the burning pain on his facem He can taste the blood from his lips.

"So this is the place where you always go huh?" It was Klyne, Cali confirmed it was Klyne with his group and some of them are new faces for him.

"Did you know that Klyne just awakened earlier? He is still a I class adventurer but he can break your bones if you want. Hahaha!" Someone from Klyne's friend talked.

"Watch this..." Klyne let go of Cali's neck and went to his mother's tombstone. He also stepped on the flowers that Cali put there earlier.

With just his bare hands, the tombstone broke into pieces.

"What's with this cheap flowers?" Klyne with a smirk picked the roses and one by one cut them into two and scattered all over the place.

"HAHAHAHA! You bastard, did you see it? That is what I am going to do to you. You've gone too far this time." Again, Klyne grabbed Cali's neck more fiercely than before causing him to feel his neck almost breaking.

'W-what did I do to you!? What are you doing this to me!?' Cali cannot let out a single word and only can think of the words he want to say.

He can see the evil smiles from them especially the smile of Klyne. It was all because Ria saves him twice that they are doing it to him.

'That b***h! Can't he just let me be beaten by them instead of helping me that just made the situation worse!?'

'AND HOW DARE THEY LAY THEIR DIRTY HANDS ON MY MOTHER'S GRAVE!?' He is already so angry and giving all his strength just to free himself from Klyne's hands.

The tombstone is already broken to pieces and the beautiful flowers that his mother liked the most is destroyed by Klyne. He admits that it is the first time he felt this anger.

'YOU BETTER KILL ME NOW OR I WILL f*****g KILL YOU MOTHERFUCKER! I WILL DESTROY YOUR WHOLE FAMILY BY ANY MEANS IF YOU STILL LET ME LIVE!'

*TING!

Then something rang inside his head again just as what happened earlier and made his head almost explode by the pain.

When the group of Klyne realized what was happening, they had a little panick.

"Klyne? Klyne? Are you really going to kill him?" Asked by someone who is sweating cold. Klynes did not answer but instead applied more force, it will only take few seconds before Cali to be dead.

He is already on the front of heaven's door and after a few seconds, he will enter it.

But before that happen, a few meters away from them is Ria and Michelle who have terrified faces while looking at the scene.

"R-R-Ria... What're we gonna do?"

"I... I don't know."

"We need to stop them. I don't want to witness a murder scene. You're already awakened right? And also a III class adventurer, I'm sure you can stop Klyne." Michelle is having this bad feeling that if Klyne really killed Cali without doing anything to stop it, she will not have a peaceful conscience.

But even if Ria wanted to help, she is also petrified by what she is seeing right now. Her hands are shaking.

It's true that Ria is already a III class adventurer, she also killed some monster from missions she had and also watched other adventurers kill many monsters but never in her wildest dreams that she will witness a human murdering another human. She is hesitating.

"Why are you hesitating? Humans and monsters are the same living beings."

An unknown voice said inside her head. She turned around and looked everywhere but she cannot see anyone instead of the darkness.

When she is about to step forward, a figure suddenly appeared from who knows where then there is again someone who appeared who has a bigger built than the first one.

Ria and Michelle gasped upon seeing it, the last one has his head burning with a blue flame and has very muscular build. It also has wings on his back and it is not human. He has two horns, his head is already a skull and is burning with a blue flame.

"Ria... what... what is that thing?" Asked by Michelle while her heart is beating so fast. Because of the fire from the head of that one creature, it is giving enough light to light the surroundings and when the two girls saw it clearly, the one next to that creature is a very beautiful woman with a long black hair and also has white wings but are much bigger than the other. Her wings reaches above her head and are touching the ground.

The woman looked at the two of them with a smile on her face that almost made the two feel jelous.

Without hearing any noise, the creature standing beside the woman draw its sword and in a split second, everyone from the group of Klyne got beheaded. Their bodies got burned while they heads remain, but for Klyne who is still standing there with a surprised face finally fell to the ground and desperately crawling away as his right leg is slowly melting like a lighted candle.

"HELP ME! H-help... Please!" Klyne is very terrified and is already crying while looking at his now gone right leg. His clothes are also stained with blood from his friends

That was the last word Ria and Michelle heard before Klyne passed out and there remains Cali who also passed out and the two creatures that appeared out of nowhere. The tombstone is also fixed, there also violet roses that is slowly growing around the grave of Cali's mother.

Before leaving the place together with Cali, the two looked at Ria and Michelle who are stiil there petrified.

"Oh my God..." Said by Ria with his hands on her mouth.

On the ground where the Cali and the two unknown creatures are standing, a magic circle appeared before the three of them disappeared without a trace.

"s**t! I can't believe what I just saw."
