Chapter 19

Noah's POV

Waking up, I look around to make sure I'm alone.

Sure enough it's only my two closest friends still passed out next to me in bed.

Last night we got totally wasted, even Jason was completely drunk, and I have never seen him like than before.

Even though we were wasted I clearly remembered having turned more than 1girl away last night, Elise being one of them.

It made me feel surprised but also inspired knowing Elaine was the reason I had a completely new outlook on life.

I wake Jason up when I hear his phone ring.

He took the call which last only a few seconds.

He got up and woke a still snoring Owen up as well.

he tells me to get my s**t and take a shower.

we are leaving in 20 minutes.

I looked at him in utter disbelief.

I remembered Owens comment about a surprise location for our weekend away.

After we all got ready we head out, not before those to Idiots blindfolded me.

Thnking about previous surprise destinations we had planned for our other friends makes me quite nervous.

I'm hoping we won't be going somewhere like stippers paradise or make out mania.

I am confident that I can keep my d**k in my pants, but also not as much...

After more than 2hours on the road I know we must be close to our home town because Owen's dad's place is more or less 200ks out of town.

Than suddenly we stop.

Now I am really nervous and excited at the same time.

They walk me out and as soon as the blind fold comes off, I feel a senses of relief rushing over me.

We were at my house.

I hear everyone shouting,but I am only trying to find one person.

There's some many people who are coming up to me, but finally I found her.

Elaine.

She looks breathtaking, and I can't help but almost run to her.

Before she could even speak I had already wrapped her in my arm.

This feeling was so profound.

Her soft Jasmine scent filled all my senses and I couldn't wait to tell her how much I missed her.

She looks surprised, but soon enough, gave me her signature sarcastic reply, but at this moment I really didn't care.

We head inside and I want everyone at this party to know she is mine, making sure to introduce her to every last person, but suddenly I feel her squeeze my hand tightly which send a shiver down my spine, immediately looking at her, I see her gesture over the crowd of people and I understand why she is upset.

Jaing Jang Xia.

I have already prepared my excuse for this and explained it to her, not forgetting to let her in on my surprise birthday gift for her.

I see her relaxing after I mentioned the surprise and feel relieved.

I meet my dad.

I can't believe he is actually attending my party.

He and mom hasn't spoken in ages as far as I know.

But I know my mom can do anything for me.

Elaine squeezed my hand and that is all I need to help me relax.

The rest of the evening I great.

I find the opportunity.

I slipped away heading to my room to get her present, before I go up I see flowers on the table and taking it, I head to my room.

I want my confession to be sincere so flowers would be a nice touch.

I opened my door , but fear ripped trough me as I find Jaing Jang Xia sitting on my bed.

I immediately close the door.

"Jaing Jang Xia, why the f**k are you in my room, what if my mom or... Elaine found you here instead of me..."

I feel my body raging with anger, knowing exactly why she is here.

The next moment she wraps her arms around my neck.

"Please Noah don't do this to me, I need you please don't leave me!"

I grab both her arm ripping her away from me pushing her to the ground.

"I thought I had made it clear to you, the s*x we had meant nothing to me, I only love Elaine... And..."

"I can't help it, Noah seeing you with that.. that b***h down stairs... It just broke me, I can't live without you Noah!"

I look at her and my anger is so strong I feel like killing this women but remembering the party and Elaine downstairs I take adeep breath.

"you better leave now, or I swear to God I'll kill you myself, you knew exactly what we were doing and you knew I didn't have feelings for you but you kept offering yourself up to me, but... it was fun and now it's over don't try anything funny Jaing Jang Xia, you'll live to regret it!"

Without another word I grab what I came for and head down stairs.

When everyone noticed me they started applauding knowing what I was about to do.

I see Elaine and I don't know if Jaing Jang Xia had followed me but I noticed she isn't looking at me.

I fastened my pase.

I'm now in front of her I hand her the flowers and confess my love to her before she can ask me about the slut upstairs.

After my confession I see the douth in her eyes...

The fear of losing her at this moment makes me beg her to declare her love for me to.

I feel like time has stopped.

Was it really only my imagination?

Was my love only one sided?

Looking away for a bit, she turn her gaze back to me...

"I love you to, Noah"

I can finally breath.

Slipping the ring onto her finger I finally feel like a huge rock was lifted off my chest.

I hold her in my arms my body still slightly trembling.

The rest of the evening we stay close to each other.

I bearly leave her side fearing Jaing Jang Xia might still be around.

When Amy asked Elaine to go with her to see the guest off, I feel a little reluctant but I let her go, not before giving her a kiss on her forehead.

I was chatting with Jason and Owen about University,when suddenly Amy comes rushing in heading straight to me, seeing the panic on her face I realized my worst fear just came through.

The only thing she gets out is Elaine and Jaing Jang Xia.

When I hear that women's name I immediately know what she meant, I rush past her heading outside...

When I see Elaine stand in the driveway, her face as white as snow my whole whole body felt numb.

I reached her, grabbed her hand and immediately apologize, trying to explain but before a could say anything els she slapped me.

Feeling completely numb even more than before, I don't get a chance to respond when suddenly my whole world comes crashing down on top of me at the words coming out of her mouth...

"Noah Anderson, I Hate you!"

The look in her eyes set fire to what ever was left.

The feeling of being burnt alive in gulf me as I watch her running don't the drive way before completely disappearing.

I want to run after her but soon Jason, Owen and her father are all holding me back.

I stand there watching my mom and Amy run after Elaine, this makes me me struggle with all the strength left in me.

I pushed them all away and head after them.

I finally catch sight of my mom.

she is clutching her chest tears streaming down her face. she sees me, and heads straight toward me, when she finally reached me she starts pounding her fists on my chest screaming at me.

I heard my dad's name and a few other things but the moment she utters the words...

"Elaine is gone, she's gone!"

I loose all my strength and collapse to the ground.
