Chapter 5 Noah

As I am lost in tough I heard a familiar voice.
Its MY MOM.
"Noah, ow my beautiful baby boy."
She came running towards me and wrapped her arms around me,
Kissing and hugging me like I was a 3year old.
"Mom, your embarrassing me, look at everyone stairing at you,!"
I spoke softly...
But what the hell I also missed my mom..
I wrapped my arms around her waist and picked her of the ground and gave her a tight squeeze...
"how I missed you mom."
I say as my head leans in her neck.
I really did miss her alot.
I put her down and she looks at me in awe.
I have gotten much taller over the past 3 year.
"Noah, I can't believe you are finally back, I'm really so happy".
She exclaimed.
Than...
She grabbed my hand and I grabbed my bag.
We where now headed to the car.
On our way from the airport I realized we weren't going in the direction of our home.
"Um, so mom where exactly are we going.?"
I asked out of curiosity
"You'll see very soon"
I saw a very sneaky smile on her face as she kept silent the rest of the way.
Soon we drove pass what was California coastline it was beautiful and warm.
I loved California in the summer, and even in winter, I might add.
Soon we turned into a drive way to a house I recognized but have only seen in pictures.
My car was also already there.
The Land Rover my mom bought for me when I graduated.
This was uncle Dan's summer vacation house.
Mom showed me alot of pictures of this place every summer after they came here and SHE was also always in the pictures.
By she I meant Elaine.
She was the girl in my heart.
My mom always spoke so highly of her and she sounded like she was perfect, so she was definitely perfect for me.
She was the reason I wanted to change for my mom.
She would be my first and last love.
Unfortunately...
I have only seen her in pictures.
So much for first love.
We get out of the car and head inside.
we find uncle Dan in the kitchen eating some chips and dip as he is getting ready to watch a football game on the TV.
"Danny boy I'm here"
I hear mom screaming from the door the minute she sees uncle Dan and he is as happy to see her she is to see him.
Than uncle Dan looks at me.
I wasn't sure how he will react but he shockes me by hugging me instead of shaking my hand like previous years.
"Noah my boy, how long has it been 3 maybe 4 years since we last met.?
" your mom said you were coming back, but I was expecting that little boy I saw at your graduation. "
"how are you, have u been well?"
I smile at his words.
"yeah I've been great Uncle Dan, I definitely grew up alot still naughty but great,
And you have u been well uncle?"
Before uncle Dan can say anything mom askes about Elaine and he smiles and points to the beach out back.
With in minutes mom is out the door and down the beach.
Was she really also here?
I leave my bags in the living room.
Almost running,
I follow uncle Dan out onto the portch.
We stand there looking at two figures walking up and I am completely astonished at the sight of Elaine...
She was wearing a denim skirt with a floral print shiffon blouses that swayed in the breeze as she walked up.
Her dirty blond hair wasn't tied, as it was blowing in the wind you could easily see the skin on her neck...
She was breath taking.
She was even more beautiful than the pictures mom sent me.
I was even more in love now.
As they near us I collect my thoughts.
I need to make a good first impression I thought to myself.
Her beautiful sky blue eyes nearly caught me off guard.
The minute she walked up I reached out my hand to her and introduced myself to her.
My hand hanging in the air...
She he didnt repond but mom placed her hand in mine.
Her hand was as beautiful and white as snow soft and gentle.
God this seems to good to be true...
Before I could even say anything further she yanked her hand away, turned around and headed straight back to the beach.
I was shocked.
Was my hands that bad? I looked down at my hand in search of an answer.
Than my mom interrupted my thoughts.
"That's our Elaine all right, always running away,"
I looked at her.
"What do u mean"?
I asked my mom
"Well Elaine is very shy, she has never interacted with anyone else intimately or fiscally besides me and her dad, so she is always like that when meeting a stranger." mom explained
"so she didn't know I was coming? "
I asked my mom.
" No, not really... "
I am flabbergasted.
"so what now?"
I asked mom
"Well you could go down there and try and talk to her,
I'm sure she wont bite, or maybe she will.?"
mom replied mockingly
I look down the beach and make a decision.
And it was about to change our whole family's lives forever.
