Zora, slightly tipsy, looked at the man with a blurry gaze. She was in a terrible mood because she was defeated by Ethan and then rejected by Zared. She came here to drink away her sorrows.
Zora said impatiently, "W-who are you? I don't know you. Get away from me!"
Maud Moody smiled and said, "Haha... It doesn't matter. I'm Maud. Drink with me, and we'll get to know each other!"
His greedy eyes scanned Zora's body. Her hot body, especially in her pure outfit, provoked his desire constantly. Maud couldn't wait to hold Zora and get intimate with her!
As he spoke, he reached out to wrap his arm around Zora's slender waist. Zora screamed and slapped him, "Piss off!"
The slap not only stunned Maud but also stopped the people dancing around to look at Zora in surprise.
Zora didn't know Maud, but others knew him. Regular patrons of the bar knew that Maud was the owner of this bar.
Maud rubbed his slapped cheek, looking at Zora with a smirk, "You're the first one slapping me in public!"
Zora wasn't stupid. Seeing the fearful expressions of the people around her, she realized she might have provoked someone she shouldn't have.
Zora said frightened, "What...what do you want?"
Maud's eyes flickered as he looked at Zora, "Beauties should have a little bit of a temper, but it's not a good thing if it's too much! Have a drink with me tonight, and I won't hold this against you. Or..."
Ethan's voice interrupted, "Or what?"
Ethan walked over with a slight smile.
Zora exclaimed in surprise, "Mr... Mr. Lee?"
Zora hated Ethan because he had humiliated her today and caused Zared to dislike her. But at this moment, seeing Ethan brought a strange sense of calm to her heart.
Ethan stood in front of Zora, his tone slightly stern, "What are you doing here? Is this a place a student should be? Leave now!"
Zora didn't argue, lowering her head and following Ethan. Just as they were about to leave, an arm blocked their way.
Maud tilted his head arrogantly at Ethan, "Brat, who are you?"
Ethan replied calmly, "I'm her teacher."
Before Maud could speak, one of his lackeys jumped in, pointing at Ethan's nose and cursing, "A lousy teacher's acting all gentlemanly here. If you don't wanna die, get lost!"
Ethan chuckled and slapped the lackey, sending him to the ground. The right side of his face swelled up visibly.
Ethan said calmly, "We're all adults here. If you haven't learned how to speak properly, I can keep teaching you!"
His cold demeanor and handsome profile attracted admiring glances from many women around him. Even Zora felt a flutter in her heart!
Maud's face darkened, "Bastard, you're pretty arrogant!"
Ethan nodded, "I'm not. I'm just teaching you basic manners! Can we leave now?"
Maud's lips curled into a cold smile, "No way!"
His lackeys gathered behind him.
Ethan sighed slightly and turned to Zora, "Stand behind me and don't move!"
Seconds later, Maud was still sitting there, but his hand holding the wine glass was trembling uncontrollably. Because in just this short time, the seven or eight strong men under Maud had all been knocked to the ground by Ethan.
Ethan walked over to Maud, looked at the subordinates groaning on the floor, and patted Maud on the shoulder. "Tell me, why are young men these days so impulsive?"
Maud showed an awkward smile, with cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. "Yes... They are a bit impulsive..."
The people around were dumbfounded. In seconds, those strong men were all kicked to the ground.
Ethan asked softly, "So, can we leave now?"
Maud, sweating profusely, replied, "Please... go ahead..."
Ethan waved his hand. "No need to see us off. Goodbye!"
With that, Ethan took Zora's hand and left the bar.
Just as they left, a few of Maud's subordinates struggled to get up. "M-Maud..."
At that moment, Maud stood up and gave two loud slaps. "Trash! So many of you couldn't even beat one person! You all piece of crap!"
The person who got slapped covered his face in grievance and thought of something, reminding Maud, "Boss, isn't Henderson coming here tonight?"
Maud's eyes lit up immediately. 'Right! How could I forget Henderson?! Henderson is the Thai boxing champion I've specially hired to hold the fort for our bar's fight nights!'
Thinking of this, Maud picked up the walkie-talkie, and Henderson's voice came through, "Hello, boss."
Maud asked, "Henderson, where are you?"
Henderson replied, "I'm at the bar entrance."
Maud asked, "Did you see a man and a woman? The woman is wearing uniform with a school logo, and the man is in a plain white tracksuit."
Henderson replied, "Yes, they're right in front of me."
Maud shouted, "Stop them! Don't let them get away."
Grabbing the walkie-talkie, Maud waved his hand. "Dudes, let's go and take this guy down!"

At the entrance, Zora looked at Ethan with a complicated expression. If it weren't for him, she couldn't imagine what she would face tonight!
Zora bit her lip and after a long pause, said, "Mr. Lee, why did you save me?"
Ethan smiled gently. "As a teacher, isn't it natural to protect the students?"
Zora's heart trembled; her eyes slightly misty. 'Is this what it feels like to be cared for and protected?'
Zora's parents were always busy with their business. Apart from giving her money, they never really cared for her. But at this moment, Zora felt a long-lost sense of love and care from Ethan.
Ethan said seriously, "Zora, do you know it's very dangerous? You may get hurt here. Don't ever come to places like this again! Understand?"
His tone was stern but filled with concern. Zora lowered her head and responded softly, "Yes."
Ethan waved his hand. "Alright, it's late. Go home now!"
Summoning her courage, Zora said, "Mr. Lee, thank you!"
A smile appeared in Ethan's mouth. Just as he was about to speak, a dark hand reached his neck!
Ethan dodged swiftly, and a muscular, burly man stood in front of him, blocking his path.
Henderson showed a disdainful expression. "Stop right there! My boss won't let you leave!"
Zora asked angrily, "Your boss? Who is your boss?"
Maud's triumphant voice rang out, "It's me. You two are screwed!"
