Camilla’s POV
I got to the beach late because Mom stopped me to give me another lecture. It didn’t matter, I wasn’t going to listen to her. Just because she got scared and backed off didn’t mean I had to do the same. I am not scared of Calissa or her father at all. I have power behind me too. I will not let Calissa off the hook. She is the reason why my father left us, and she will have to pay the price for it. None of this would have happened if she hadn’t told him what we had done. Mom messed up, why in the hell did she allow him to come with her that night? She has worked around him a thousand times. Why did he insist on coming with her that day?
