Huginn got alarmed by the sound of breaking twigs, the noise he heard wasn’t far away at all. He flew to the white wolf, who was sleeping deeply next to Odin. She was so close to him that Huggin had to try his best not to wake up Odin. If Persephone wasn’t so tired of nurturing Odin, her wolf instincts would’ve been alarmed a long time ago. Huginn pecked the wolf in her ears, and she opened her eyes immediately. She could feel that Huginn was anxious. They could both hear that the treat was already close. The wolf instincts took over, and Persephone knew she only had a few seconds left. She looked at Odin and gave him one little soft goodbye lick. Tonight She would die to protect him.
