In danger now

When I opened my eyes I was laying in Adriano's bed.. Alone. I don't know how I got here. I remember this man holding a gun against my head and trying to get away... Then there was a gunshot so loud, then I probably passed out... Is Adriano ok? .. And who shot my attacker? I had so many questions.

And no answers... I really hope Adriano is alright.... Yes I must admit My feelings for him were growing. I was lost in my thoughts when Giano walked in.

"Hey Catharina.. Your awake that's good, do you feel better?" I slowly nodded. "Yeah.. I do.. Where is Adriano is he ok?" Giano smiled. "Yes he is perfectly fine" I was still wondering what happened.

"I shot him.. Your attacker" Giano said as like he read my mind."... And Alex? Where is he?" Giano's expression went from happy to sad. "He... Is at the hospital.. Your attacker shot him.. The bullet didn't touch his heart but it was close.. We.. Don't know if he will make it"

.. Oh no.. Please don't die Alex don't die because of me. Ugh this is all my fault. I felt so guilty now. "But... Catharina we need to protect you better.."

wait what? Why did this guy try to get me anyway. That was the question I kept asking myself.. But didn't dare to ask out loud.

Giano sighted "I'm not supposed to tell you.. I can't"... What does he know I don't? Would I be safe? I don't even know.

Giano stood up "I'll leave you now.. I am sure Adriano wants to see you" he grinned a bit at those words then left the room.

Here I am again.. Alone in this huge room... Was I safe? I don't know maybe someone will try to kill me.. Or kidnap me. Oh boy.. Now I am scared. I almost had a heart attack when Adriano entered.

"Hey princess" he began carefully but I stood up and jumped in his arms, hugging him more tightly then ever. "Wooaahh what's this?" He chuckled and hold me tightly.

"Princess... I am so sorry for bringing you in danger".. Adriano whispered. I smiled.. He was so sweet. Maybe one day we could leave this dangerous crazy world and have a normal life.

With a normal job and normal family life.. Then we would really be happy. And safe.. Most important of all... Safe.

We hugged for a while. "So... You.. Won't let me alone anymore or something?" I asked carefully. He sighted "I was supposed to tell you, not Giano" he hissed lightly.

"But yes you need more protection.. I even think about moving you to a new place.. Its too dangerous here they know Your here alone.." now I was confused "who knows I am here?"Adriano looked away and went silent...

Why didn't he answer me? "Adriano...?" He sighted again and looked down now. ".. You better don't know yet Catharina" he answered then kissed my forehead and placed me down. "Sorry.. Princess... Its for your own safety."

I didn't like this at all. Adriano and his friends were doing stuff behind my back, that was already bad enough.... But he knew why I was in danger.. And didn't even tell me why or who was after me...
