4 We made camp beneath the starlight with a warm fire crackling in the middle of our group. A warm dinner was inside me and my dragon shifter was beside me. The only thing that could have completed that moment was a mind wipe to forget that strange vision, at least for a few minutes. I leaned against Caius’ shoulder and watched the flames dance. Caius wrapped his arm around me and whispered a few words. “You okay?” I closed my eyes and smiled. “You already asked that.” “You’re avoiding my question,” he teased.
