BEING STRONG

330 Words
I gave myself twenty-four hours to have a good cry after Noah called last night to let me know he made it safe and sound to his dorm room at Harvard.  We face-timed for an hour talking about ourselves and how much we missed each other.  We spent an unusually long time reminiscing about how many times we nearly caught before we told Lee.  Well, I should get to sleep tomorrow is the start of my Senior year.       I hear my phone ringing.  Why it is only 6:25 in the morning, I still have five more minutes.  I look at my phone there on my screen is that gorgeous smirk I fell so in love with every time he aimed it at me.  I instantly answer it, and before I can even say good morning, he tells me "I know it is early, babe and you are not a morning person, but I wanted to be the first one to wish you good luck on the first day of your Senior year."  I couldn't help but smile how could I stay annoyed at him when he was so darn cute.  Smiling ever so slightly I tell him, "Ah Noah, you are so cute."  he groans at me, "Shelly, please you know how much I hate that word."  Giggling uncontrollably I say "I can't help it I love you Noah Flynn"  He responds "I love you too Rochelle Evans. Now get ready for school I hear your alarm going off and Lee will be there soon to pick you up.  Please do not wear the same skirt to your first day of Senior Year as you did last year."  I giggle a little and respond, "  I would, but Lee is not picking me up today because I am taking your bike to school."  He smiles, shakes his head, and says, "I love you Shelly text me when you get out of school"  "I love you too Noah bye" Bye Shelly."
