After Noah hung up, I head over to Lee's. Once there, I head straight to his room, and he is lying on his bed with an ice pack on his eye, lip and his chest is wrapped up. I yell as soon as I walk in "what the hell Lee why did you LIE to me didn't you think I would find out tomorrow about all this." he looks at me and says "sorry Elle I didn't want to worry you tonight. Did Tuppen call you or something" "or something is right I had to find out from Noah. As soon as you feel better, I am going to kick your ass so." He just smiles and grimaces and tells me "whatever you say Elle" that being said I climb in to bed next to him and wrap my arms around my best friend and ask "why Lee" He looks at me and reply's "not only are you my best friend you might one day be my sister-in-law and me kind of like that since you were officially a part of my family so..." I just mess up his hair some more and say "hmm, I am glad you are happy about Noah and me now Lee. I love you dork" "I love you too Elle" I left shortly after that so he could get some rest since June was so worried he was picking up where his brother left off. The only thing that kept Lee out of trouble was that he was trying to keep the guy away from me.
The new guy (his name is Justin) didn't look too happy about me showing up in Lee's Mustang with him the next day. Especially when Lee saw him glaring, and he deliberately threw his arm around my shoulders and started guiding me to the building. I asked him where Rachel was, and he said that he had asked her to wait inside for him just in case the guy started something when we pulled up.
The day went by very strange turns out...thanks to Rachel is the only reason I found out... that I was being walked to class by some of the biggest football players on the team because the guy boasted that I would be his and there was nothing they could do to stop him. Unfortunately, no one stopped to think about my soccer practice. I hadn't even seen him. I knew Lee would be by after to pick me up, but no one thought he would approach me at practice. How he found out, I do not know, but this is when my nightmare began.
