EYE TO EYE

First thing I did when I got home was run into my room and lock the door before I texted Noah.

Elle: Hi babe, I am home. I love you...

I am not sure if I should tell him about what happened today, I don't want him to worry, but at the same time, I know Tuppen is keeping him updated.  The next thought that pops into my head is Lee.  

Elle:  Lee I am so sorry I left, but Tuppen just kept yelling at me to go he said he had your back are you o.k.

Lee:  Yes I am OK, and I am glad you did what Tuppen told you too this new guy is bad news after he realized you left he was mad and tried to take Tuppen down for telling you to go.

Elle:  O.k. see you tomorrow at school

Lee:  Elle, please don't be mad I know you ride the bike to be close to Noah but let me pick you up form now on me and Tuppen think it might be best for now.

Elle:  O.k. I have a funny feeling I am going to be hearing the same thing from Noah soon if Tuppen has already told him about today.

Lee:  Thanks Elle see you tomorrow.

I start to get out of my uniform and pull on some sweatpants and one of Noah's t-shirts he left me.  I was getting worried about when Noah would message me back when I hear my phone go off and there on my phone is the love of my life, but he does not look pleased.  As I get ready to listen to him rant at me about today, I answer, "Hey, Noah, I miss you, cutey."  I tease him hoping the one adjective he hates me using about him will calm him down.  He shakes his head and says, "Now is not the time to tease me, Shelly.  What the hell, are you O.K. did he hurt you"  "No Noah he didn't I swear"  "I know you hate me telling you what to do and honestly I am trying here Shelly, but please please stay away from that guy Tuppen says that it took him and two guys to pull that jackass off of Lee.  Also, please don't ride our bike to school anymore for awhile.  I agree with Tuppen on this" "O.k."  "O.k. you are not going to fight me on this one Shelly."  "No, Noah I won't I promise he scares me, and when he hit Lee just for Lee trying to get him off of me, it scared me.  It wasn't like when you fight where I am afraid of the fight of who might get hurt.  He actually scared me.  I don't trust him."  "Thank goodness, Shelly, I thought I was going have to come down there to put him in his place when it comes to you."  "I have come to realize you  all care about my way too much."  "Yes, I do"  I can hear talking in the background some guy asking him if I am OK and I giggle because, the guy I guess got a glimpse of Noah's screen and just said damn she is hot just like you said, man.  Noah looks over his shoulder and says "dude, first and foremost Shelly is all mine so don't even  think about it second yes she is fine unfortunately my little bro has a black eye a busted lip and a broken rib."  I scream "What the hell I am going to kill him for lying to me"  Noah looks back at the screen as says "let me guess Lee told you he was fine since Tuppen sent you away and you didn't see the aftermath" "Yes, I am going to your house to kick you little bro in the ass.  That little asshat,"  Noah laughs and says, "that is my Shelly.  Go kick his ass if it were anyone else I would be mad, but it's you, so go for it,"  I hear in the background Noah practice.  Noah nods and says, "Gotta go, baby, I love you."  I smile and say, "I love you too, babe"  I hear OHHH in the background before Noah hangs up.
