I looked at Lily with bleary eyes. I may have stopped crying hours ago but my eyes were still blurred with the force of my tears. I honestly didn’t know what to do. I had no idea how to deal with a situation like this.
The whole thing was all kinds of messed up. It felt like I was being torn.
My eyes flicked to the man sat at the window. I didn’t know his name. someone might have told me hours ago but I didn’t remember it and he hadn’t offered a conversation. He had been staring at the damn phone in his hand so long I was surprised the battery wasn’t dead.
