The news of the vision and discovery of the Holy Lance spread quickly through the city and was a huge boost to the morale of the Crusaders. Their leaders held a meeting that evening to discuss their situation in the city palace. They had gathered in a large chamber and sat around a long table, in the middle of which was a white cloth displaying the holy relic found by Peter Bartholomew.
