“Did you really think you could have a wedding that didn’t get approved by us? There is no mating of any kind that doesn’t go through us first.” The unknown guest spoke up. “Who are you? Do you work for the hunters?” Kenzie asked with a suspicion look on her face. “We do not work for any hunters. We are the Royal Council of Supernatural. Why would you ask us about hunters?” Royal Council asked with a shocked look. Then the next thing anyone knew the hunters busted in and tried to take Kenzie why everyone else was distracted with the Royal Council. Out of the corner of Adam’s eye he seen Bret coming for Kenzie and pulled her behind him. Just has Brett stab Adam in the leg with a silver dagger. Adam fell from in front of Kenzie and Bret grad her and took off running for the back of the building where they were supposed to be having a wedding not a kidnapping. "What do you think you're doing?" Kenzie screamed at him. "I'm bringing you back to the hunters where you belong.” Brett laughed as he said it. "I'm not yours to take. You need to take me back; I was in the middle of getting married." Kenzie kept screaming at him. "You will not be going back your mine to keep. I will succeed where Sid failed." Brett glared as he said this to her. "You will fail just like he did. My friends will find me just like before. Just this time you will be the one that is dead." Kenzie stated with tears in her eyes. "Oh, Kenzie you have too much faith in your friends. You see I have a plan and I know how to make it come about. Using your friend’s loyalty to you is how I'm going to succeed." Brett said with lust in his eyes. “You do realize I will fight you every step of the way? My friends will not be fooled by you. There is nothing you can do to convince me to join you." Kenzie shouted at him. “I don't plan on convincing you. I plan to force you and there will be pain involved. I will guarantee that my dear." Brett said with a scary smile on his face. Back at the wedding everybody was wondering what was going on. There was so much confusion nobody anywhere new where to look. While the Royal Council of supernatural came one way the hunters decided to go in the other. The only thing that seemed to catch anyone's attention was that Kenzie is now missing. Everyone was pointing fingers at the other for the reason Kenzie was taken. Then they realized that Adam was laying on the ground knocked out. “Adam you need to wake up Kenzie is missing." ShaSha was saying as she shook Adam awake. “Who just took my granddaughter?" One of the Royal Council asked. “Did I hear you right? Did you just say Kenzie was your granddaughter?" Adam asked with some confusion on his face. "Yes, you heard me just fine. Kenzie is my granddaughter and now you can tell me who I am talking to." The same man yelled at Adam. "Sorry sir my name is Adam Maxwell. I am Kenzie's fiancé and true mate. I don't mean to be rude, but I need to know who you are. I know you say that you were Kenzie's grandfather, what is your name?" “Sorry I didn't give my name. But you must understand Kenzie doesn't know that she was adopted by the family that raised her. We had to hide her for her protection. So, what I need to know now is who took her." Kenzie’s grandfather asked in a rush. “Well Sir, it would be easier to talk to you if I had a name for you and the rest of these people as well. To answer your question though, the hunters took her they want to make her use her powers for their own agenda." Adam said with respect but with some concern as well. "Do you know where they are? How long have you guys had problems with the hunters? Do you know who the leader of the hunters is? This is going to make things a lot harder to explain to Kenzie, with all that is coming her way." Kenzie’s grandfather stated. “Before I go into any more detail for you, I think you need to give us a little information. Explain who all these people are for one and what is coming after Kenzie." Shasha spoke up. “Yes, I will explain to everyone, you all might want to sit down. I will start as soon as we go to some place private first not everyone here needs to know everything. I want the only ones that you will deem trustworthy in the room when we talk. That way we know we will not have a leak in the group and the information won’t be getting out to our enemies." Kenzie’s grandfather informed them all. “Follow us to the conference room. Then I want you telling us who each one of these people are and what they mean to Kenzie. Then I will expect you to tell me the rest of the information. Then I will explain about the hunters and who each of us are and what we are to Kenzie." Adam announced in a firm voice. “That’s fair enough. Like I said, I’m her grandfather my name is Scott Vampire. I was Kenzie's real mother's father. The next person is Kenzie's other grandfather from: father side. His name is Dustin Wolfen. To the right at him is Jasmine and she is a fire sprite, to her right we have Nick, he is a wizard. Then we will go on to the one standing behind him she is a witch, and her name is Stacy. To her right is a troll and his name is Shane, and to his right is an empath and her name is Savannah. We are here to help Kenzie not hurt her. There is one person who is out to get Kenzie and we came to keep it from happening. Her aunt and another person are after her or her powers that she will eventually get. Which is will being one of the most powerful supernatural people out there. Since she has blood of a vampire and wolf in her." Scott said with all seriousness in his voice. “Now that you have explained things to all of us, then I will do the same to you. This gentleman is my brother Sam and is true mate Conner. Next in line is also my brother and his name are Trent and his mate Sami, this is my youngest brother Jake and his mate Katie. Then sweet girl here is Kat and her after Sister Haven. Final we have ShaSha and her husband and true mate Dillion with their two children. Finally, is Russell. Everyone here is like family to Kenzie since the ones she knows as her family doesn’t have anything to do with her. They have been with her since they were all little.” Explained Adam. While everyone at the church was wondering what was going on in explaining who everybody was. The hunters moved further and further away with Kenzie. Night was sending down upon them as the fog was rolling in. The hunters had reached their destinations for the night. They got out of this murky rundown hotel. Then pulled Kenzie out with her hands tied together and pushed her into a room. Brett the leader of the hunters untied her hands and handcuffed her to the headboard of the bed. He checked the surrounding area to make sure it was secure before he laid down to sleep. Has he laid there his mine started to wonder. He knew that Kenzie could not go nowhere, that he had her handcuffed to the bed, yet something was still bothering him. He just could not put his finger on what was the cause. Brett drifted off to dream less sleep. Back at Deming Park where everyone was gathered trying to figure out how to get her back. There were many questions still need to be answered on both sides. “There are still some things I need to know. Why did it take you guys so long to get in contact with Kenzie? Why suddenly are you guys all concerned about her safety now?" Adam asked with suspicion in his voice. These are the things he had going on in his mind that happened just could not help but ask. He also knew the others were thinking about the same thing. “Well first let me introduce Kenzie's other grandfather. His name is Dusty, and he is a Wolf shifter." Scott said as Dusty step forward to shake Adams hand. “I do not talk much business then I have to. So, I am going to get straight to the point, Kenzie's real father was my son. They loved Kenzie dearly, but when Kenzie was four years old her parents were murdered by her mother's sister. Luckily Kenzie was with me that day. When I found out what happened I went to Scott and we decided to make Kenzie disappear. We had a wizard block her memories she would never remember who any of us were. Then we found a family who had some siblings to convince them all to take care Kenzie as she was their own. Then we backed off and stayed away, it is not that we didn’t care about her that we did what we thought was best for her safety." Dusty explain with pain in his eyes. The Council stood in silence why Dusty told the story of their beloved Kenzie and her family. “So, you are telling me that not only do we have to worry about the hunters. We have a crazed aunt after Kenzie now as well?" Adam screamed. Adam was getting frustrated because he had so many questions that he needed to know about as well if Kenzie was still alive. “Yes, in a way you have Kenzie's Aunt is looking for her. Then we have answered and explained some of our situation on our side we have questions of our own that we would like answers to." Dusty asked. Scott stood and stared at the group that swore they were friends of Kenzie. “It is only fair we answer your questions explained our part as you did to us." Adam said as he agreed with Dusty. The whole group stood and shook their heads in agreement with what Adam said. “What hunters have my granddaughter? Why do the hunters want my granddaughter? Then I want an explanation on how five vampires, troll, a cat shifter, a Wolf, an empathy, a sightseer, and two hunters are supposed be friends with my granddaughter and how they swing their loyalty to her?" Scott spoke with force in his voice. Councilmembers all shook their head in agreement, but none dared to speak any more than what Scott had already said. The look on all the Council members faced said they wouldn’t be settling for anything less than the truth. “As for me I am Kenzie’s true mate and her fiancé as well. That alone should tell you where my loyalties lie. We both dreamed of each other. It is also her wish to become a vampire. It is what she dreams of becoming. But for the others I will let them explain their own side their version of why their loyalties lie with Kenzie." Adam explained to some degree. Adam bound and walked to the side so one the other could step forward to speak. “Hello honored Council. My name is Connor as you know I is the sightseer. I have known Kenzie since you brought her to the family she knows. And let me tell you she did not have a happy childhood. We have gone to school and other things together and have bonded my loyalties will always be with Kenzie even against you." Conner sidesteps so Dylan can step forward. “I did not grow up Kenzie I met her in college when I met my true mate. Just so happen to be one of Kenzie's best friends. I have learned that Kenzie would do anything for her friends and anyone else that she cares about. I have seen her give up things for herself, so she could give to others. Which that alone shows me that Kenzie is worthy of my loyalties. I may be Wolf and should be just loyal to my pack alone, but I cannot and neither does my pack they all admire and respect Kenzie. So, she did not only have my loyalty but my packs loyalty as well." Dylan bows and takes a step back so ShaSha can step forward and tell her story. “Like, Conner I grew up with Kenzie from the time you brought her. She has always been an adventurous person but only when they weren’t around. The so-called family that you left her with verbally abused her. They took advantage of her because she was so smart and so trusting so they use that and manipulated her to do things that they wanted her to do. She learned how to fight back in different ways, then she left for college and never looked back. They do not call her, they do not write, and they do not acknowledge her existence. When the mother died they did not call her until after the funeral was over to let her know. That was a week later so when it came time for them to sort out the woman’s will that Kenzie new as her mother. Kenzie was sure that she would get nothing. They were sure they got everything and was going to sale off the restaurants that Kenzie owns. What they did not know, was that she had everything switched over into Kenzie's name when she got sick, so they couldn’t sell it. They were not happy that they could not touch and had no say in what happened with it. So, they told her she was no longer welcome at their home. She had to leave and that was her senior year. So, Kenzie came and stayed with me. She finished her last year of high school living with me and together we showed up for graduation. We are the only true family she knows. The group you see before you are and always will be Kenzie's family. My loyalties are with my family which includes Kenzie. I would follow her to the ends of the earth if need be." She walked back to her children and told him that she loved them and that they would get Kenzie back. The children were crying for their Aunt. “My name is Haven and as you pointed out I am a Hunter that I did not find out until the stuff started happening with Kenzie. But like the others I grew up with Kenzie I was there to see what happened to her with that so-called family you put her with. The only things I think she got out of that is how to be stronger than she realized she was. They never changed her in a way that you think it would she was never hateful. The one thing they did not change was her heart, she was still the loving and caring person that all of us know. She is a part of my family my mother, father looks at her as another daughter. They call her just to check up on her to make sure she is doing okay. To me she is my sister and always will be. Even though I just found out that I have a half-sister Kenzie was always there for me and I will always be there for her. So, my loyalties are with Kenzie, and I to would follow her anywhere." Haven looked at Kat and nods her head and walks off. “I know when you look at me, you see a Hunter and you would be correct. Yes, I have hunted many of your kind following what my father has always told me to do. Something has always felt wrong in my heart I never knew why. I found out that my father had been lying to me and that I had a half-sister. So, I went to find her and learned what the true meaning of friendship and family was all about. Kenzie took me in with no questions asked just because I was Haven half-sister. She did not look down on me she did not question me in any way. I could see the truth in her eyes that I was welcome. She told me if I hurt haven in any way or anyone else that she cared about she would some way make me pay for that, that she would be gladly to be my friend if I was willing to put their needs above my own. She explained that is what a true friend and loved one does without question. So, because she was able to do that for me I was able to give my loyalties to her and into my half-sister, which then I gained a mother that I never knew. So, you see Kenzie has helped in so many ways that she has earned so many loyalties from far and wide." Kat turned around and goes sits down away from the Council. “My name is Sammy and since you did not include me into this group. I will inform you that yes, I’m a witch. I as well, grew up with Kenzie and was there for a lot of that as well. You have already heard about the crazy family she had but the one thing you did not know, and everyone here is reluctantly to tell you. She was almost r***d and beaten when she was young. My mother who is also a witch had to do some spells to help heal some of her wounds. Kenzie would not let her heal a couple of the scars she keeps has a reminder of what she went through and how she survived. The only reason she did not get r***d was Kenzie fought him. When he could not get what he really wanted he decided to beat her instead. So, then my mother did a protection spell on Kenzie, so no more harm could come to her if she lived with them. We never thought she would need the protection spell, but he tried and until she moved out. Kenzie has been with me for so long that I cannot see myself not being in her life or her in mind. So yes, my loyalties are with Kenzie and my group of friends here." Sami looks at the Council while one tear falls down her cheek she turns and walks out of the room. “Why do we get to the real issue instead of us sitting here telling each other where loyalties are lie. My name is Sam I am Adams oldest brother I came here to help my brother when he found out his true mate was in trouble. But once I got know Kenzie I seen so many reasons why she has loyalties from everyone she meets. And thanks to Kenzie I have found my true mate, so my loyalties will live with Kenzie, my mate and their friends." Sam walks over to Conner. Puts his arm around her to hold her close for comfort. “My names Jake and I am the youngest of Adams brothers. Thanks to Kenzie and Conner I was able to find my mate and bring her back safely. Kenzie put her life on the line in a chance to be captured by the hunters once again to help save my mate. So that alone earned my loyalties that she had from the moment I met her. Just because she made my brother happy and brought new meaning into his life that she also brought me and everybody's life here in this group." Jake walks over to Kate and pushes her forward so Kate can tell her story. “Good evening Council, my name is Kate and yes I am empathy. I do not know Kenzie as well as the others. But, she helped me anyway. We were both kidnapped by the hunters. She helped keep me calm and to think clearly so we would both survive. She did not turn her back on me like some have because of what I am she except me wholeheartedly. So, for that she has my loyalties." She bows her head and walks back to Jake. “I do not see the point in doing all this, but my name is Trent I am the second to last brother of Adams. My true mate is Sammy in she is one of many of Kenzie's friends. So, as you can see all our lives have been touched by Kenzie in some way or form. So, there is no need to question our loyalties because they will always be with our friends and mostly be with Kenzie. I do think we have the right to question your loyalties, since you left her with a family that could have done her true harm." Trent moved out of the way and went back down by a window, so he could wait for Sami to return. “You heard from everybody in the group. I do not mean to go any further all care why you guys here. Right now, what I do care about is Kenzie. She is still missing, and the hunters have her and I am sitting here argue with people who have not been in her life for years. But I do not know about all of you right now I need to figure out where she is and get her back. I need to know she is safe and well. I don’t need you so called family to get in the way." Adam is yelling. “Adam you need to calm down we all want to get her back. But we all need to calm down, so we can think straight to get a feel for where she may be. Within being a new leadership, we have no idea what were up against and were." ShaSha was saying while trying to calm Adam down. "ShaSha I know you mean well. I’m going insane not knowing that she safe. Is going to be hard to explain some of the councilmembers to residents, when we do get her back. I need her safe, I need her by my side, and I cannot live without her. We need to figure out where she is at and now." Adam was saying while taking deep breaths to claim his self. "Adam we can help. We just need to know how long you have been dealing with the hunters and why do you think they took Kenzie? There could be someone else guiding the hunters to Kenzie and that is what I need to know but I need all the information that you have first. And we will get her back that is a guarantee." Scott said to Adam with a fear look on his face. "I would say it all started about six months to a year ago. It started out with Sid wanting Kenzie because he saw great power in her. He figured that getting her bonded to him and then getting her pregnant he could control her and her power. They gave her potion that somehow started her powers early or something. Well we killed Sid and we haven’t heard from them until now. That is all we know at this is time." Explained Adam. "Well that is a start. I still think there is somebody above this new leader. I just cannot prove it is Kenzie's aunt that is after her. We are sure that she will be sooner or later, but we think she is using the hunters to get to Kenzie. So, let us backtrack to the places they first took Kenzie if we can get a feel for him, then maybe we can find her in the process." Dusty said as he tried to get everyone on the same page. “That is a good start Dusty, but I also want to see if Conner and Katie can maybe get the feel for her." Trent said, because he knew that Conner wanted to help more than she was letting on. “You want to use the sightseer and the empathy to locate Kenzie?” Jasmine asked. She didn’t understand how they could do that. “For a matter of speaking yes, Conner is very good at what she does. Katie is more than what she appears to be, so do let what you think a sightseer is close off your mind to what she can do. We will use them to help us find Kenzie." Trent stated and walked away to go make sure the other guest has left to go home. Once they made sure the guest left and told that they would be informed when the wedding would take place again, they took off to get started on the search for Kenzie. Conner and Katie went to the Café to see if they could get a read on Kenzie anywhere. Then they follow it up and go to her house just trying to get a feel for Kenzie. It took some time, but Conner finally got a location on Kenzie when they reached the car. Conner’s then called to have everyone meet back at the Café. She had news that she needed to share and only wanted to tell it once to everyone’s face. While everyone got at the Café, the hunters still were holding Kenzie hostage at the run-down hotel. They were getting ready to transport to another location, so they could stay moving and not be found. When everyone that finally showed up the Café. Conner was getting ready to let them know she was sure she knew where they were or were they was going to be at. "Conner I am not sure why you called us all here and pulled us off our search but tell us what you have to say and please do it quickly." Adam said in a rush with a look on his face which said he meant business. “Rude much Adam. Now that everybody is seated, we can talk about this calmly and I am more than ready to tell you about my vision." Conner said glaring at Adam. “It is about time I was beginning to wonder if you actually could do what all these people said you could." Scott said while he rolled his eyes and could not believe she knew what she was doing. "Scott you better back off. That is my mate and I do not like the way you’re talking to her. I could care less whose grandfather you are. Kenzie will forgive me since you haven’t been big in her life for years." Sam glared at Scott as he said on this from across the room. "If you guys are finished, I like to get started and tell everyone what I saw. So, we can get on with getting Kenzie back safe and sound." Conner yelled over the others. "I agree with Conner. He yelled, you all need to grow up and shut up. Let her talk now." Adam yelled at everyone while he stood up. Once everyone got quiet back down Conner begin to speak. She tried to make sure she didn’t leave anything out. “When I got near Kenzie's car that is when the vision hit me. Kenzie seems to be in a room handcuffed to a bed. It looks run down and abandoned but I cannot see exactly what it is or where it is now. It does not look like it is a house it looks maybe like a motel hotel kind of thing." Conner had informed them all. "So, is there abandoned hotel or motel around anywhere within 30 miles or so?" Someone asked out loud. No one was sure who exactly asked the question. Since everyone was thinking that exact same thing. No one spoke up for a while it is just deadly quit in the Café. It was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. No one even moved they was all in deep thought. “Yes, there is one. It is out on routes 163 and 41. I think it once was a motel bar kind of thing. It has not been in use for years." ShaSha stated that to everyone. "That is right I remember seeing that on my way back and forth to work. I always wonder what somebody was going to do with that property." Dylan said. Which did confirm to everyone that he knew what property that ShaSha was talking about. "Well I guess we found our first place to start looking. Now we need a plan and come up with a way to do surveillance on the place just in case they are there." Adam said all this why he paced back and forth in the room. “Can we pull the property up on the Internet to see what all around the property is?" One of the Councilman asked. “We could try. We also may be able to tap in to a satellite system and beam down and look at the property that way. It will just take a little bit of time to find the right location and get it brought up." Sam said as he walked out the room towards Kenzie's office. While Sam was doing the Internet search on the property everyone else started gotten the maps is that they would cameras, so they could go check out the property. Adam since ShaSha and Dylan to do a drive-by of the property and report back to them with what information they had. He got on Conner and Katie to see if they could get anymore visions about Kenzie and the hunters. The Council started making a few phone calls to try to get some leads on what is going on with the local hunters. ShaSha and Dylan returned to the Café to give them a report of their drive by of the motel. “So, what did you find out?" asked Adam with hope in his eyes. “Well Adam there is somebody there. We could not tell if Kenzie was there, but it looks like they were getting ready to leave." Dylan said with worry in his voice. “We need to hurry up and get there before they leave. They could have Kenzie and getting ready to transport her to a new location and it will take us even longer to find her." ShaSha stated in a frantic voice. Everyone got into three or four cars to take them towards the motel. While getting ready for battle to rescue Kenzie from the hunters. As Adam and the others showed up they were throwing Kenzie in the back of the van. Everyone jumped out of the cars and headed for the van and the people around. The fight begins with Adam charging right towards Brett and the others following right behind him. They manage to get everyone away from the van and Dusty the Wolf Councilman opens the back of the van doors and grabs Kenzie out. He takes her towards one of the cars that they all showed up in. Brett knows is he is getting outnumbered runs for one of the other cars jumps in and takes off. While the other hunters follow in one of the other cars to get away, so they can try again. Leaving everyone else behind. “Did we get Kenzie out of the van?" Adam was shouting to anyone who would answer have. “Yes, Adam we got her out, she safe. She is in one of the cars waiting on you, but she is knocked out cold." Dusty let Adam know while patting him on the back. Adam walks towards one of the cars, where Kenzie is out cold. He wants to make sure she is safe, once done he gets in and just holds her close. Everyone climbs into the cars and drivers back to Kenzie's house, so she can rest. They want to talk about how to let Kenzie know about her true family. That the ones that she grew up with was not her real family.
