They all went to bed too so they could be ready for in the morning. Kenzie started to dream when she fell asleep. To her, it was so real but yet not at the same time. She was a little girl and she could see her mother and father there with her. Then she felt a chill, and something went them and she was at the family she grew up with and they were being mean and nothing felt right. Then her Aunt was in front of her telling her to give up it would be for the best for her to leave now before it was too late. Then she felt something, and it was sharp and painful. She looked to her arm, and she had a red cut on her arm that made Kenzie scream in pain. It was burning and then she felt Adam wake her up and they both looked at her arm and it was red but no mark. She curled up to Adam and fell asleep for the rest of the night. When she awoke, she knew then he would not be an easy fight. Once everyone was up, they got ready to finish the rest of the journey on foot. they had about two hours to go on foot then they would split up into the groups and head inside. They made it to a run down old looking castle of some sort. That is where they split up into groups and waited to get told to go in on Kenzie’s signal. Once Kenzie knew everyone was in place, she gave the signal and they all entered the castle. They all came into this big room that had no roof on it and there stood this shifter with a few others around him. Kenzie told everyone to be careful of the shifter in the middle he is the most powerful out of them all.

“Kenzie you know it's you I want to fight not all these losers” the shifter in the middle stated

“You can come to me anytime, little boy. I just don’t want to hurt you.” Kenzie relied upon back

He started to walk towards her and sent the others after her friends. She met him in the middle and knew that he was ready to tackle her. She was ready for him on that move. She was waiting for just the right moment to use the spell she learned in her dream that her mother taught her. She knew it would put everyone to sleep but her. She mind linked everyone telling them to move everyone to the center then cover their ears as fast as possible. right before she went to use the spell the shifter grabbed her by the neck and started to squeeze. She did the one thing she didn’t want to do. She used her legs and moved them to his neck and twisted to where he let go and then she kicked him backward. Next, she did the spell and put everyone to sleep even a few of her own people. The ones that listened and covered their ears up tie everyone up and used chains on the big shifter. She then called upon some animals to help carry everyone back to the cars. The big shifter started to wake up.

“Why didn’t you kill me? She said you would kill me if you got the chance because I was different.” He told her

“I don’t kill unless I have to. I knew I didn’t have to kill you. Someone has put you in a spell and had things done to you against your will. She did that to you and I am here to help, but don't think I won’t kill you if you try to hurt me or want is mine.” Kenzie said without blinking.

“Why would she do that? She said we would be together, yet she left me here to die if you did that to me,” he said again

“What is your name? I don’t want to keep calling you shifter dude.” Kenzie said while others laughed

“My name is Brain, and I was just a PUMBA shifter then I remember little after waking up and I could do so much more than I used to. Now I don’t know what I am and what is going on.” Brian tried to explain

“I see. I would like to take you to some friends of mine and see if they can explain what happens to you, but I need to know that I can trust you. I will know if you're lying or not,” Kenzie told him

“I want answers and would like to know where my brother and sister are. So if you can help me get answers than that is great. I don’t want to hurt anyone. It was like I was fighting with myself inside my head. There still feel like a fight going on. So you may have to do something before it can set me free. I don’t feel like me just yet.” Brian tried to explain but was having a hard time.

“Brain I would like to try something on you if you will agree to it,” Kenzie asked him

“What do you want to try?” Brian asked

“I want to put you to sleep then enter your mind to see if what you say is true and to see what all she has done to you. It will let me know how much I can trust you and to know what you are capable of.” Kenzie explained to him while the other talked in hush tones.

Not everyone like her doing this and some just thought we should kill him. Few thought I could save him. Kenzie knew she was walking a fine line here, but she had to save as many as she could because she knew the war would kill a lot of shifters and some will get hurt but have to live with the outcome of it all.

“Yes, please do. I want to know what someone has done to me. I would like to know if there is a cure and I can go back to normal again.” Brian pleaded with her

“Good, then you will need to eat and get relaxed as much as you can. Adam I will need to center myself and I will need an archer. So you and Plato will have to be that for me.” Kenzie said out loud

“Kenzie you can’t do this. It's not right to do this. You need to think about the big picture. You can’t save everyone we encounter on this journey.” Alpha Chris said

“See that is where you are wrong Chris. I have to save who I can when I can. That is why I am here. I am here to unite us all as one again. I have to save as many as I can, so she can see I will not back down.” Kenzie shout at him

He stormed off not happy about this at all. A few others didn’t seem happy that Kenzie will do this for the guy that wanted them died only five hours ago.

“Adam please make sure that Brain eats and that I get some food, I will use Plato as my center point and you will be my archer to bring me.” Kenzie walked off and grabbed Plato on her way so she can get centered.

“Kenzie you will need to relax and try to focus, but you cannot if you don’t let go of your angry,” Plato said to her

“I’m trying too, but with everyone trying to tell me what to do and not listening to me is getting a little old,” explained Kenzie

“I understand, but they can read your mind or see what you see to know that you are doing what the spirits want you to do. It’s hard for them to believe when they have had nothing to believe in for so long,” responded Plato

“Yes, but I think I have shown them many things I should have heard their trust by now. Without trust we will not win this, without loyalty we can’t move forward. That is the way it needs to be if they want peace again.” Kenzie stated

“Fair enough. You need to make them understand that. You need to show them why the Spirits chose you to be the true Queen and not your Aunt. That will be difficult to do in the long run. Many don’t know you yet so trust and loyalty will be hard for them. So you will need to be patient.” explained Plato

“Your right Plato. I’m just not sure how much time we have before it will be too late. She will strike soon. These little setbacks she is causing is only the beginning.” Kenzie said

“Let’s get you entered so you can see if Brain can get helped and saved. That may help your cause if you're right about him.” Plato said hopefully

Kenzie and Plato sat across from each other so he could help center Kenzie. He knew he would be the one to help guide her and the would-be Adam that would help bring her back. He couldn’t help keep think about what Kenzie said the other day about he will find a mate soon. He wasn’t sure he wanted one just yet. He needs to focus on Kenzie and helping her with this war before he worried about a mate. He duty needed him more right now.

“Breath Kenzie, keep it even and steady.” Plato reminded her

Before longing Kenzie had centered herself and ready to begin. She mind link Adam to let him know that she was ready to start. That Adam needed to put Brain to sleep so there would be no resistance when she went into his mind.

Kenzie started to lay back so she could easily jump into the mind of Brian. She knew this is what she had to do since she has seen it beforehand. Once she got laid down, she closed her eyes then chanted the spell to let her enter Brains mind. Next, she let her body leave on its own to enter Brian. Once there she could she darkness were all around in his mind. Like he were trying to fight it off. Her Aunt did a number on him, she had him thinking she was in love with him and then she had it in his head he needed to die for her so he could come back in his true form. But to do all of this he had to kill me first. There was something causing him to fight it and it was the love he had for his family. She knew that is where she had to start from to fix the problem and knew it would take a while. She got the love and grew it bigger than it was and next she started to take out the suggestions that her Aunt put into his mind. Kenzie found the part where he were made up to be different animals and found that he was really two types of animals her aunt just made him think he was more. His one was a Pumba and the other animal is an aardvark. It was just not unlocked. So she unlocked that animal. Now he could choose which one to be at the time he needed it. She looked around to make sure she had gotten all the darkness out of him. She even looked into his heart and found none. She was just about to reach out for Adam when she saw the biggest black mark in his brain that her aunt put in him and it was the part that could have hurt everyone if she would have missed it. She implanted a device into his brain she could control from anywhere. The problem was it would have to be taken out by surgery nothing She could do from her. She called upon Adam to help guide her out and back into her own body. Then she would have to talk with everyone about what she found
