When Kenzie found her connection to Adam, she could follow it back to herself. She gave herself before she called for a meeting with a few people. She then would bring in Brian to talk to him about what will happen and how they will need to go to fix it. Adam noticed Kenzie awake and rushed to her, she was still a little out of it so Adam called for Plato. Ever since Kenzie linked them they have been able to mind-link. So he could get to Plato with no one knowing about it. They told no one that they could mind-link each other thanks to Kenzie. They all figured it would be better than a few people knew. He informed Plato that Kenzie was awake but still not ready for people to see her so they both needed to be on guard since she was at a vulnerable state right now. Kenzie heard everything that was going on but she was still a little weak from the ordeal she did for Brian. It took a lot more energy than she thought it would.

“Adam can you get me something to eat and drink so I can rebuild my energy please,” Kenzie asked him

“Yes, my love,” Adam replied

“Plato once I get food and something to drink we need my grandfather’s and Colt to come over here so we can have a meeting can you please make sure everyone knows and just them. No one else. I also make sure you and Adam are there.” Kenzie told him

“Yes Kenzie, as soon as Adam gets back I will get them gathered up for you,” Plato replied

Adam returned with Kenzie food and drink and Plato left to do what Kenzie wanted. Neither one would leave her in this state so one was with her at all times. Once she ate, then she sent Adam to help Plato. They got everyone pulled together into the tent that Kenzie was in.

“Kenzie what is this all about? We should be on our way back to Colt’s pack so we can decide what to do with Brian.” Dusty said with no care in the world.

“Dusty shut up. You know what is going on because you think you know it all instead of facing the truth of the matter. You are no longer in charge and I think it went to your head. I love you because you are my grandfather, but you have no say in my life or how I do things. You are here because I let you be. I have already heard from my mother how you used to try this s**t with her because you didn’t think she should have so much power over your son. He was good with it, you just never took the time to see they were happy how they were. Now if you can play nice, then sit back at shut up so I can tell everyone you care what will happen.” Kenzie stated coldly.

“Kenzie he is an old man set in his ways. Take pity on him you are all he has left of his son.” Scott replied to her

“Then he needs to remember his place or he can lose me too.” Kenzie left it that

“Enough of the fighting. Kenzie, why did you pull all of us here?” Colt asked

“Yes, the reason I gathered you all here is about Brian. I have fixed most of what was going on inside his head. Most of it was spells making him think things that weren’t true. But he is a dual shifter. He just doesn’t know it because one of his animals was still locked away. I have unlocked that animal and he will need to learn how to use it and become friends with it as well learn how to know which one he will need at one time. Now the problem is that there is an implant in his brain that was surgically put in there and will have to get removed before I can fully trust him. I haven’t told him any of this yet I wanted to hear your thoughts on how would be the best way to remove the object and in a safe manner. Killing him is not an option unless there is no other way to save him and others. Does everyone understand?” Kenzie explained everything to them and stated what she wanted from all of them. They all shook their heads letting her know that they understood.

“What if we get him back to the mainland do a cat scan on his head to see how the object is in there then have someone remove it then we can study the object?” Colt asked

“I think that’s good but I just don’t know what the range of her control is with that object in his head. It was so small and covered in black magic it was hard to get a good feel from it. So, it would have to be fast or we would have to keep him in cuffs till we can get the results back.” Kenzie said

“Kenzie I think that is our only option. We have none way to scan him out her. You only checked his heart and brain not all over him. He could have more. We would need to do a full scan, so keeping him cuff would be safer for all of us.” Scott replied

“I think he is right Kenzie” Adam spoke up

They all agreed to keep him cuffed until they could get the results on him and that they would try to help him learn more about himself and get through this. But for everyone safety, they needed to get him locked up.

“Adam brings Brian here so we can talk with him about what will happen and tell him what we have found out,” Kenzie told him.

Adam brought Brian into see Kenzie and everyone stayed to see his reaction to the news. Dusty just couldn’t get over how his granddaughter knew how he used to treat her mother. He didn’t think she should have had more power than his son, his son was choice too, but not, in the same way, has Kenzie’s mother. I just never could get over how it was her family that got my son killed. I’m still not happy with Scott but he was with me when it happened and he lost his mate and daughter as well so I couldn’t blame the whole family. It was just hard and now I’m doing it to my granddaughter who won’t think twice to cut me out of her life for me being who I am if I can’t let her be her. I wasn’t there for her when she was growing up thinking it was for the best but maybe we were wrong on that part. Then he saw Brian come in with Adam and knew it was time to listen.

“Brian, how are you feeling?” Kenzie asked him

“I’m ok, I was a little out at first but I’m ok now. Thank you for asking.” Brain replied

“Brian I brought you here to let you know what I found and what I did while I was looking at you. Are you ready to hear?” Kenzie asked

“Yes, please go on.” Brain replied

“Ok, most of what someone did to you was spells put on you. She made you believe a lot of things that weren't tried. But you are a duel animal just not over two. Someone locked your second animal up and I set him free. Learn to balance between the two. Second, she also has some kind of Object inside your brain and I’m not sure of the range she has on you to control you with that in your head. Also, since I only checked your head and your heart there could other. So far the only thing we can do to make sure we are all safe keeps you cuffed and then take you to a hospital run by supernaturals and had them do a scan from head to toe on you then remove them. That way you will be free to make your own choices again. But the choice is still up to you. You can stay her prisoner and could get killed by one of us or take a chance and be free to make your own choice plus join forces with us so this doesn’t happen again to anyone else.” Kenzie explains

“That is a lot to take in. I can’t believe that believe I have two animals that’s cool. Well, I don’t want to be controlled and I would like to be free again. So I can understand where you are coming from. I would like to make sure all of her doing it out of me and I can freely make my choice and not have someone take those from me. So do whatever you have to,” Brian trusted in Kenzie wholeheartedly and figure he didn’t have nothing else to lose with her.

They came to terms on how Brian would get treatment and be treated until we get all his results. They all started to pack camp up so they could head back towards Colt’s pack and then on to take Brian to a hospital. It took three days and four hours total to get back to Colt’s pack and then another two hours to get Brian to the right hospital. Everyone was on edge waiting for the results of what they found. It seemed to take hours for the results to come in.
