“Dusty, Scott I want to leave in the morning to head to your homeland. Shasha, Conner, and Haven I need you guys to run the cafe while I’m gone and to keep finding out what you guys can. Then I will need a few to come with me to where my parents grew up. Who would like to come?” Kenzie told the ones their jobs and then asked for a few to volunteer to go with her.

Killian, Adam, and the three new people volunteered to go with Kenzie. So there were five people coming with Kenzie, Scott, and Dusty. She knew what she had to do and she would make sure she got the answers she needed. Too many people counted on her, she couldn’t afford to fail. She needed to get this under control quickly.

“Kenzie, what time do you want to leave for the airport?” Adam asked with a worried looked

“How soon can we get a flight out of here? I would like to get to England as soon as we can.” Kenzie replied with determination.

“We can leave since Scott and Dusty have their plane at the private airport,” Adam said with a smile

“Then I want to leave after I go home to pack and then head to the airport. I want to get to England.” Kenzie stated

“Kenzie, why are you in such a hurry to get to England?” Adam asked in wondered

“I need to be there. I want to feel connected to my parents, but I also think I can find out who told my Aunt about where I was and kept tabs on me for her. I don’t think Dusty and Scott want to believe that there is a spy in their group. I need to know that everything is being looked at and no one is being overlooked.” Kenzie explained to Adam as best she could.

“Kenzie, I’m sure your grandfathers are doing the best they can. You need not worry.” Adam stated calmly

“No, I know that they have not checked everyone. I just have this feeling they are leaving a few people out. I just can’t explain it.” Kenzie said with a worried look like Adam just isn’t understanding.

“Ok, if you are telling me you have a feeling that something isn’t right then we go with that feeling. I’m with you one hundred percent.” Adam said as he walked up and gave her a hug.

“Thank you, Adam that means a lot,” Kenzie replied

They told everyone to meet at the airport in two hours. They went home to pack and to get ready to leave for England. When they got home, there was a note on the door saying not to go to England. To stay away if they wanted to live. Kenzie knew then she was making the right decision to go to England. It made her more determined to find out what is being hidden from her. She looked at Adam and then back at the note on the door.

“See I told you I need to be there. Why else would we get a warning?” Kenzie said

“I understand Kenzie. Really, I do.” Adam replied

They got their things. They packed enough clothes for a few weeks. Then they loaded up the car to head to the airport. When they got to the airport, they noticed that everyone was there waiting for them to arrive. They all got loaded on the plane and waited for takeoff. No one said a word of why Kenzie and they were late or what could have happened. They could tell something happened just not sure what, and no one wanted to be the one to ask her. She was putting off don’t f**k with me right now vibe. So everyone was giving her the space she needed. The flight will take ten hours and forty-five minutes with one other stop for fueling. Before Kenzie can reach where her parents grew up.

Kenzie knew she was being a b***h to everyone, and that wasn’t her normally. She was just pissed that someone yet again tried to keep her away from where her parents lived and died. Where she was born but taken away from so, she could live but was she living or was she just there waiting for life. She wasn’t sure and yet she knew in her heart she needed to be going to where she was born. Something or someone was pulling her there. She needed to sleep like everyone else but she pulled out her laptop and did some research on where her family was from. It was hard at first because so many stories surrounded the place. It was hard to find the true history of it all. She was finally sleeping and put the laptop away and laid down in her chair to sleep. they arrived at the stop to refuel and was letting everyone off to stretch and walk around for. Kenzie went to the airport to get to eat with a few of the others. When she saw someone watching her, she could feel a bad vibe from. She knew that they couldn’t stay here much longer or there would be trouble coming their way. She grabbed her food and told the others to hurry and they looked at her with concerned she said she will explain at the plane. They all hurried to the plane and Kenzie gathered everyone around and told them the feeling that this guy was giving off towards her, just as she was finishing telling everyone they all heard a loud noise coming from the other end of the runway. It was 6 jaguars coming their way. Everyone got ready for a fight and then Kenzie did something no one expected her to do. She walked to the front of the battle and yelled stop. Everyone froze at that moment, then all eyes turned to her.

“Who is the leader of the Jaguars group?” Kenzie asked with a command

The man took a step forward and looked right at her.

“I am. Why do you ask that now?” the Jaguar leader asked

“I want to know who I am speaking with and why you are attacking my friends and me?” Kenzie said in a firm voice

“I am Colt and you know why we are attacking you since you took my son.” Jaguar leader said in an angry voice.

“I didn’t take your son, and I just arrived here. So, I would need more information.” Kenzie replied

“Change your looks a little since you took my son a week ago,” Colt said with confusion

“Colt, I didn’t take your son, but since you have just given me a little information just now. I may know who has your son and I promise I will help you get him back.” Kenzie replied with sadness in her voice and in her eyes.

“If it wasn’t you and I’m still not so sure I believe you. Tell who it could have been then and I will get my son myself.” Colt yelled

“Let’s go somewhere so we can talk and I will explain the best way I can.” Kenzie waved toward the airport.

“Yes, lets. You are good at this and you give off a different vibe than the last one that was here that looks kind of like you.” Colt explained as she walked next to Kenzie

Everyone followed them to the airport. Kenzie walked to the airport information desk and asked if there was somewhere they could have a private conference. The airport staff showed them to a small conference room, and they all filled in. Once everyone was in and seated if they could sit Kenzie looked at Colt. Kenzie took a deep breath and would explain.

“Colt I ask that you wait till I am finished explaining before you ask any question about what I will tell you. Do you agree?” Kenzie asked him with a look that no one could say no too.

“I agree. I will be hard but I will do as you ask.” Colt replied

“Good, Let me begin. I was born in England 24 years ago. I didn’t find that out till a year and a half ago today. They raised me into thinking I was human for as long as I can remember. Someone put a spell on me to think I was human and to forget everything else. That was like that until I met my mate Adam here on my left. Then things happened, and I found out more about who I truly was. I also found out what my friends were. I got kidnapped and threatened. I fought hunters and got new leaders in the hunter's group where I have a cafe business. The human family was reporting me out to my grandfathers at first but then worked for my Aunt. They would still give some information to my grandfathers but not telling them everything. My Aunt is an evil woman and wants me to die. She wants my power and my kingdom. I am the rightful queen of the supernaturals and my Aunt wants that so she can rule evilly. I want to do as my parents did and do what they would have done if they have gotten to live. My Aunt killed my parents and my grandmothers. She did it to find me. Somehow she found me and now she wants me died. But the only way she can take my power is by eating my heart which gives her my power and soul. She is who I believe has taken your son. She will force you into helping her get or she will take over your son and have him do it then he will die. You and your clan will have a choice to make. You can help me and we all can track down your son together or you can try to find her on your own. You will take a chance if you go after her she will spell you to do her bidding.” Kenzie explained as much as she could in as much detailed to Colt as possible for him to understand.

“I know of the story you are telling. I knew the King and Queen well. I remember when their daughter was born. They were hoping my son would be her guard one day. Then the attack on them came, and no one knew who killed them. The supposedly, they killed as well their daughter. So How do I know you tell the truth?” Colt asked Kenzie

That’s when they heard a knock on the door and walked in her grandfathers. Colt stood and bowed his head to them both, out of respect for them. He knew them both well.

“Scott and Dusty it’s nice to see you both again. I wish it was for better reasons. Why are you joining this meeting?” Colt looked at them both

It was Scott that spoke up first.

“Colt this is my granddaughter. She is the daughter of your best friend Devlin and your other friend his mate Carmella. We hid her away, and I made the rumor for her protection. But it failed and we don’t know how.” Scott told Colt more of the story that even Kenzie didn’t know. This trip would give her more answers and even more questions.

Colt fell back into his seat and just looked at Kenzie and then he got down on one knee and bowed to her so did the rest of his group was with him. She was in shock and didn’t know what to do. She just looked at them in wonderment. She looked to her grandfather for help and they just smiled at her and bowed to her. Then the rest did the same was in the room. Kenzie was in awe of it all.
