“Come, everyone let’s look around this place together. I don’t want any of us getting lost or anything else,” Kenzie said.

We all went to explore this place to see what we all could see. We saw rooms that we didn’t know we're even in this place. They hid a lot of this house with magic. Why are they going to so much trouble to hide things? This just makes little sense to me.

“Do you guys get a feeling like they are trying to keep us from finding out things here?” ShaSha asked.

“I was thinking the same thing,” Conner said

“It just feels off in this section of the house. I can’t explain it.” Plato said.

“I know what you mean. It’s like that there is a veal over the house.” Kenzie said.

“That’s it. There is a veal over the house.” Adam said.

“That would explain all the things that have been happening in this house. They have a white and dark veal over the house.” Kenzie said.

"The question is why?" ShaSha asked 

“I guess that is what we will have to find out.” Kenzie voiced.

We all went back to the living room to talk and figure things out. When we arrived there Dusty and Scott were there. We all stopped to figure out what we would do. 

“Don’t go, we would like to talk to you all. Please,” Scott said.

We all sat down in the living room to see what they wanted. We all thought this should be good.

“Well speak. We don’t have all night.” Kenzie said.

“You don’t have to be so rude,” Dusty said

“We came to say we are sorry. We had our reasons for not wanting you to keep digging. We felt that if you did, you would see that... We could have saved them if we had wanted to see what was truly going on.” Scott explained.

“He is not talking about our part in this but the councils. No one wanted to believe what was happening, and that we helped in a small way. So we covered it up and sign a treaty with the coven and hoped that it would never come to light.” Dusty explained more.

“That is until you receive some of your powers that have been passed down through the years. We were hoping it would skip you and you would find none of this out. But it hasn’t and I guess it’s time we all face it.” Scott elaborated.

“Let me get this straight. You all could have stopped this and I could have had my parents here right now? But you all buried your heads in the sand, and we have this problem now. WOW! is all I can say.” Kenzie said as she got up and starts pacing.  

“Kenzie, it wasn’t like that. There was so much going on and that we just didn’t figure it out in time.” Dusty trying to explain.

“I don’t think you wanted to see what was going on. I don’t think you tried at all. I have been here only a short time and I figure a lot of out. So don’t give me that s**t now. You two will start talking and telling me the truth or else.” Kenzie yelled.

Everyone knew right then I was pissed me off. But I knew my friends agreed with me and they were not happy with Dusty and Scott either. No one knew what to say or how to proceed with all the anger was in the room. 

“Dusty, Scott, I think Kenzie is right. You two need to tell us the truth and you need to start now,” Adam told them 

“It’s not that easy, Adam. We really are not sure where to start. It goes back when our children were small. This has been going on for a very long time. But we figured it out before our children were married, but we were hoping we were wrong.” Scott said with a look hard to make out.

“Look we all know how far back this goes we read all that. What we don’t know is why is there dark and white magic all over this house?” Kenzie asked.

“It’s because we asked the coven to do both so no one could find out the truth. But we didn’t count on you to tell the difference or be able to find the magic at all. So we didn’t think we would have to talk about this at all with you.” Scott said.

“Scott, stop this. We can’t tell them all of that. This is what we have been trying to protect all this time.” Dusty yelled.

Then the next thing I know, ShaSha runs over and knocks Dusty to the ground and stands over him. He knew not to move, because of the look in ShaSha’s eye. 

“ShaSha don’t hurt him. At least not yet,” I told her.

“Kenzie I won’t hurt him. Well, much anyway,” ShaSha replied as she laughed.

“Why are you trying to stop Scott from telling me the truth? I think after all this time I should know it all. I mean I was the one who lost both parents and hidden away for years because of all of this.” Kenzie said looking at Dusty then at Scott.

“You were not supposed to ever find any of this out. I don’t want you getting killed over this.” Dusty said.

“It’s too late to worry about that. I have a crazy aunt out there wanting to kill me and she will not stop until I am dead or she is. But I would like to break the curse before any of that happens.” Kenzie yelled.

I have to leave and go lay down before I kill someone and Dusty seems to be my target at the moment. I look at everyone and they know that I am leaving the room and that I need space at the moment. I left the room and went up to bed, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep just yet. I knew I had about an hour before they all went to bed and then I could scan Scott and Dusty for black magic. I had to know the truth.

Adam came through the door just as I sat down in a chair near the window. It surprised me he was here already.

“Did everyone go to bed?” I asked.

“Everyone went to their rooms. Plato will be here in the next half hour to do what we planned.” Adam replied.

“Ok, that sounds good. That way we can make sure everyone is asleep.” 

“Yeah, I thought too,” 

“Sit down and have a drink with me, while we wait,” 

So we sat there looking out the window for the next half hour. I had way too much on my mind to sleep and I needed answers. This was the only way I knew how to get them. Then there was a knock at the door, and Adam got up to let Plato into our room. He changed clothes, so he was a little more relaxed when we did this. They know only one can go with me and one stays behind to watch over us. Tonight Plato is going with me while Adam stays behind. It’s better that way if anyone comes and knocks on our door, it would have looked odd if Plato answers our door this late. He and I get into our spots and we start our chant for meditation. That way we can get to the platform of the dream state. Then we can jump to find Dusty and Scott’s dream state and we slip in to see the truth that they are hiding. Once we get to that state Adam will stay in guard mode so no one comes near us. He knows it's hard for me to protect myself. He would never leave me in a variable state like that. 

Getting into Dusty’s dream state of mind first and I could see no black magic anywhere so far. He just miss guided ways that I find going through his mind. He thinks this curse is because they shared an alliance with the coven and they betrayed everyone. He has no clue that our family was involved with the coven along before he was born. He is fighting for this because he really doesn’t believe in the cures at all. He thinks we are fueling it because we won’t leave it alone. What an i***t. It’s time to go check out what Scott is thinking.  

We jump to Scott’s dream state and when we get there, it’s out of this world with thoughts and all kinds of knowledge. Then I see it, there in the back of his mind. There is a paltry amount of black magic in his system. I know I have to get it out of him to sort this out fast. He is the major one that has been coming up with the ideas to stop me. But this is not from my aunt, this is from the coven. It has a different feel than what my aunt has done in the past. Then that means this might be harder to get rid of. So I went on with my search and found all kinds of things, and then I went back to the black magic. I locked it tight, but I could get through it and take it out and store in like a jar. Once all that was done we left to go back to our own bodies. To let Adam know what we had found out, and I wanted to show him the dark magic I could bring out of Scott.
