Levelling Up!!!

   Zhangsun Shan was so happy though he didn't show the expression on his face, he could wield Rui Xing's weapon without it burning him, the last time he held his weapon was when he was ten years old, he had nearly died but right now, he could easily wield and it felt so light in his arm.

"He's just a man with a small Ochinchin, show no fear, after him, we shall devour on his flesh" the leader of the Liarm beast pack growls aloud, all the other Liarm beast growls in agreement as they dash towards Zhangsun Shan.   Zhangsun Shan grins to himself, as he held the weapon, he instantly knew all the intricacies and workings associated with the weapon, nothing about it felt strange or alien to him, it all felt so natural.

He runs towards the beasts who were also dashing towards him, stretching his sword as far as he could, fire appears and covers everything about it including the hilt though he wasn't scathed from the fire damage.

Ten Liarm beasts at the same moment leap towards his position, Zhangsun Shan expecting that quickly slides underneath them, as he did that, he raises his weapon towards the beasts which were directly above him, charging his weapon with more firepower, he expels it obliterating the ten creatures who were above him to smithereens.

Some notifications popped up in his field of vision

            Level up!

            Level up!!

            Level up!!!

Zhangsun Shan grins to himself as he gets to his feet, though he didn't understand what the level up notifications in his field of vision meant but he kept admiring himself, he looks over to the Liarm beast which had a flustered expression just gazing at him.

"This thing is making sense" Zhangsun Shan grins at the monster as he swings his weapon playfully.

The leader bends as it growls again, immediately, the Liarm beast scatter around as if trying to take a formation, they now assemble in a circular formation with Zhangsun Shan and the leader at it's center.

"Provide me with buff support" the leader of the Liarm beast orders.

As it said that, all the Liarm beasts which surrounded the two of them began to chant in a tongue Zhangsun Shan couldn't comprehend, the Liarm beast which was directly in front of him had taken several colourations; red and green, it's eyes were now read and he looked really dangerous.

"You don enter am" the leader snarls as it pounces at him, Zhangsun Shan barely dodges as he quickly moves to his left.

He realized something, things appeared slower than it was before and his movement was also faster; just what had happened.

"You no fit leave" the leader snarls as it charges towards him, Zhangsun Shan keeps dodging it's charges though it was incredibly hard and he realized something, the beast was getting faster and his eyes were having trouble keeping up with it's movements.

"If I keep up with this, I might actually be destroyed" Zhangsun Shan thinks to himself clearly terrified, it was then that he realized something, none of the other beasts which surrounded them had made any move to come at him, they were each locked in a state of what appeared to be a form of meditation.

"Earlier on" Zhangsun Shan says still stepping backwards and trying his very hardest to dodge the beast

"You said they should provide you with buff support, there was a green icon on each and everyone of you when I had first seen you all but I couldn't access it, as a notification informed me I was under levelled but now I can" Zhangsun Shan grins to himself as he mentally clicks on the green icon which he saw displayed directly above her head.

  When he did that, he saw;

           Leader of the Liarm pack

           Level -: 3

        Physical buff activated.

        Effect of Physical buff -: Shall keep getting stronger and faster till it's support crew is eliminated.

"What else could be it's support crew..." Zhangsun Shan thinks as the leader rams into him, it was too fast that he couldn't dodge, his left arm was ripped off his body, blood splatters everywhere but his arm instantly grows back, Zhangsun Shan was amazed as he felt almost no pain at all, he continues

"...than the useless bunch of Liarm beasts which are surrounding us, it's time I end this" Zhangsun Shan finishes as he extends his weapon towards the beast direction who was charging at him.

Charging his weapon, and causing blue and red flames to engulf it, he releases it towards the leader, the leader dodges it easily.

"You missed" it smiled at him.

"I intentionally shot it towards your direction" Zhangsun Shan says with his most haughty smile

"While your crew gives you more speed and strength, it doesn't affect your defense meaning it was logical to assume you would escape from my attacks as you are still very much vulnerable and thankfully, some of you support crew are in the direction you moved away from making them easy prey" Zhangsun Shan ends with his most haughty smile.

Just then, a notification popped up on his field of vision.

            Level up!

            Level up!!

The leader looks back and sure enough as Zhangsun Shan had said, the attack Zhangsun Shan had expelled had eliminated at about fifty Liarm beasts, while it was yet distracted, Zhangsun Shan dashes past him, getting to the remaining Liarm beast which were in the area, he slices off their heads cleanly, killing them before their minds could even comprehend what was happening, he finished hundreds of the Liarm beasts in exactly five picoseconds.

As he was done, he saw some notification pops up in his field of vision.

              Level up!

              Level up!!

The leader was dumbfounded as his carelessness for a mere moment had caused the death of all it's pack.

"In battle..." Zhangsun Shan grins as he now faced the leader

".... while the enemy is still alive, there is no time for hesitation not even for the smallest fraction of time, a single moment of hesitation will definitely cost you your life" Zhangsun Shan grins as he now faces the leader, the leader opened it's mouth, blood dripped from it including it's husks, Zhangsun Shan's sword was plunged directly into it's chest.

It collapses to the ground; dead.

As it died, it disappears into nothingness, same went for all the beasts who were in the area, but they all left something in their wake; a husk, though the leader's one was far bigger than the rest.

Zhangsun Shan heaves a sigh of relief, that was his most intense fight yet, he looked over at the husks on the ground, walking towards the leaders' one.

A notification suddenly appeared in his field of vision

                       COLLECT

Zhangsun Shan was still amazed about how this world works but he mentally clicked Y anyway.

             Collection successful!

Zhangsun walked over to the other husks collecting it as it appeared in his notification, when he had collected about sixty two more, a notification suddenly came up on his screen.

              Inventory full!

             Sell items to shop or drop!!

   The message disappears from his field of vision, he spots the brightly colored triangular bar at the bottom side of his field of vision, clicking it, his stats instantly appear directly beside his portrait, in his portrait, he was no longer naked but was dressed in his Samurai wear, the stats were;

           Attributes -: Extremely pragmatic, resourceful, handsome, totally cool, really dreamy and extremely badass.

Zhangsun Shan couldn't help but blush at his stat attributes, it had completely changed from the last time he viewed it, he smiles to himself as he keeps reading it.

Zhangsun was amazed as he looks at his stats, they had really increased from last time and he also hadn't noticed the exp stat earlier, though he was amazed as he didn't remember the strength stat having (5) there before but he could care less about that, he was more interested in understanding what he could do with the skill points, he would ask one of the villagers if he could.

Zhangsun looked behind him, he was back at the point he was earlier when any moment he made got him electrocuted and burnt, he stepped through but his body was unscathed as nothing burned or electrocuted him.

He ran as fast as he could into the village, looking around, he sees everyone had returned to their predictable lives, each making the same movements continuously.

He saw '!' on a small young man who was making the same movements over and over again.

Curious, he moved over to him, the man still kept making the same movements but as soon as he was a few feet away, the person stopped

As he approached the person, a chat icon suddenly displayed close to his face.

Zhangsun Shan mentally clicks it.

"Hey, I am Michael Tody" the young man begins.

"Michael Tody" Zhangsun Shan thought to himself

"What kind of name is that?" It was totally strange to him.

"I am presently crafting a sculpture for my grandmother for her birthday, unfortunately I don't have the materials, but I heard the husks of a Liarm beast would be perfect for it, Can you run over to the the forest and bring in five for me?" He asks.

As he said that.

             Y or N was displayed underneath his face

Zhangsun Shan was amazed as he looked at the man, he had spoken and stood in one spot without blinking or showing any sign of discomfort.

"You wimp, get yourself a nice sword and enter the forest to get those husks" Zhangsun Shan says to the man but he didn't alter or show that he even understood what he was talking about, he just kept staring at him.

Zhangsun Shan frowns as he grudgingly clicks Y.

Almost immediately as he did, the '!' on top of his head instantly disappears.

"Thank you" the man says.

Almost immediately, another notification popped up in his field of vision.

Zhangsun Shan clicks Y and following it was another notification.

                     +1000 exp.

                     + 100 gold.

"I have seen the husks, I shall get straight to work" Michael says as he leaves Zhangsun Shan's presence, he didn't appear to have any husks with him or even carrying it, he just keeps performing the same predictable action that Zhangsun Shan had noticed him doing earlier.

"This is one strange world" Zhangsun Shan says to himself as he watches the man go.

Looking over at the shop with the 'Armoury' sign, he walks over to it.

He enters the shop and meets a young woman with long brown hair which went past her neck, she didn't have much amazing qualities as her body and face all looked plain.

Zhangsun Shan looked over at the shop, it was all bare, there was nothing there, just a woman standing directly behind a counter.

"Is this supposed to be a joke?" Zhangsun Shan says clearly annoyed.

Just as he had spoken.

Two notifications display on his field of vision both each enclosed by a brown bar.

            SELL ITEMS    BUY ITEMS.

Zhangsun Shan remembering that his inventory was full and he desperately needed to sell some items clicked the sell items bar.

Immediately, his matrix inventory was directly displayed in front of him.

It wasn't the 3 by 3 matrix that he had seen earlier on, it was now 8 by 8.

One of the spaces there was occupied by the black cubicle, the rest all had the husks of the Liarm beasts he had killed.

Zhangsun mentally clicks on a small husk.

            Select amount (1) to sell.

            One husk - 50 gold.

             Make payment

                   Y or N

"Well, the husks are not necessary, I will sell all" he says to himself as he mentally inputs all..

            Select amount (62) to sell.

            Sixty two husks - 3100 gold.

               Make payment

                    Y or N.

Zhangsun Shan clicks Y and Immediately, another notification popped up;

               Transaction successful, have anything else to sell?

Zhangsun Shan thought hard about selling the leader's husk but he decided against it, he wanted to see the kind of weapons available as fast as possible.

He finds an 'exit' icon at the  bottom right of the simulation.

Getting out he was back to the previous page.

He clicks on 'BUY ITEMS' and another page pops up.

               DEFENSIVE EQUIPMENTS

Clicking on 'Offensive weapons', it takes him to a new page, there he views a vast variety of weapons ranging from different types of swords namely; Long swords, Scimitars, katana, daggers and Igrizoes.

There were also other weapons there such as smoke, sonic and stun grenade.

Then the last showed all forms of guns  namely; pistols, rifles, machine guns, AK-47, rocket launchers, plasma rifles, freeze rifles, flame thrower and a big red weapon called small magnum.

Zhangsun Shan was unfamiliar with the last two set of weapons but he understood the first set quite well.

Looking over at the weapons, he realized they were at different segments which was separated by their levels.

There was a level 1, 5 & 10 segment.

Level 15 and above was locked as he was under levelled.

Zhangsun quickly goes to his personal page showing his stats, as quickly as he could, he clicks 'equip'

The Igrizo there was level 1, in the store display, it was only supposed to have fire effect and not a mind hax meaning it's previous user; Rui Xing must have found a way to hax it.

Zhangsun Shan acting hastily quickly looks over at the other weapons

Daggers had no special effect.

Long swords and Scimitars both had poison effect.

Igrizo had fire effect.

Katana was the most expensive out of all of them, it had bleed effect and a special was attached to it.

Zhangsun Shan taps the weapon but a notification came up in his field of vision.

     MUST BUY WEAPON TO VIEW.

Zhangsun Shan considered his options.

These were the stats for the weapons

Zhangsun Shan looks at the stat of every weapon, they each had their strong points but katana was what he was most familiar with.

Also, the Igrizo he used was far too under levelled.

Looking over at his stats, he had exactly 3200 gold, he had gotten 3100 from his sales and 100 gold from the Liarm quest he has taken earlier.

"There was a time when I once tried to wield you and it was said I was unworthy..." Zhangsun Shan grins to himself as he removed the Igrizo he had originally equipped

"...but now, you are far too inferior for me to wield"

Clicking the katana, a new message popped up;

   ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO PURCHASE THIS???

Zhangsun Shan clicks on Y.

         CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE BOUGHT KATANA (LEVEL 10)

SPECIAL -: EVERY HEALTH LOST BY OPPONENT STRUCK WITH D.O.T EFFECT INSTANTLY RETURNS TO THE WEAPON'S USER.

Zhangsun Shan grins as he saw that statement, his weapon really was broken, quickly, he exits all the pages till he was now able to see the woman in the shop.

He went out holding his weapon and smiling to himself

"This will be fun."
