This story is about twin brothers who were given up for adoption as babies. They don't know that they are werewolves or that they are the next kings, living in the human world. Before their parents gave them up, they asked a witch to cast a spell on them to bind their wolves until they turned 18.

Their first shift scared them. They had to leave the only parents they have ever known and everything they have ever known to keep them safe. This story is about finding out who they are, why they were given up, and finding their mates. Not knowing what a mate is, this new and so confusing world all happens at the same time. How will the boys cope? Will they accept all, or will they excel in every new test coming their way?

THIRD PERSON'S POV. Levi and Mars Lorenz, inseparable identical twins, carried a mysterious history that shaped their lives. From the moment they were relinquished for adoption as infants, they found a loving home with Beth and Clark Lorenz, who became their devoted parents at the tender age of three. Growing up, the twins had no recollection of their birth parents or the adoption process, as the Lorenz family became their only anchor in life. Life in the Lorenz household exuded an air of serenity and normalcy, offering Levi and Mars a sense of security during their formative years. As they navigated their final year of high school, the twins embraced a routine filled with the typical pursuits of adolescence, including planning for further education, relishing moments with friends, and immersing themselves in sports and extracurricular activities. Levi, the generous and spirited captain of the local football team, effortlessly embodied the essence of joviality and camaraderie, thriving in the dynamic social scene that surrounded him. Conversely, Mars personified the introspective and studious archetype, dedicating himself to his studies with unwavering determination and projecting a reserved demeanor. Despite his quieter nature, Mars exhibited a remarkable prowess in sports that was on par with his outgoing brother. Beth and Clark Lorenz POV. "Clark's voice trembled as he spoke, gazing at his wife across the kitchen island. Beth paused from making coffee, her eyes filled with concern as she listened to him. 'Love, I think it’s time that we tell the boys,’ He said quietly, his hands fidgeting on the countertop. Beth turned to face him, a flicker of worry crossing her features. 'Do you think it is wise to inform them? What if they despise us? What if they never speak to us again? I don't think I can bear that,' she suggested, frowning and looking down at the steaming coffee pot. Feeling a surge of determination, Clark got up and walked over to his wife. He wrapped his arms around her and gently lifted her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. 'Hun, we raised our boys right, and they love us as we love them. They may be shocked or even angry when we inform them, but consider this: if they hear it from someone other than us, how do you think they will react then? Put yourself in their shoes. How would you genuinely feel?' Understanding that he had a point, she nodded in agreement. 'You're right. It’s just hard to think they may react negatively and that we may end up losing our boys. I love those boys so much; it's like I've given birth to them myself. I just can't bear my life without them in it. They are my life, and I know we need to tell them. I've always known this day would come. All I'm asking is that we keep it until after their birthday next week. I don't want to spoil that for them. Let them have one more exceptional memory before we inform them.' Please, Clark, let me just have this one more good memory before everything changes. I fear things will get very, very bad. Clark looked at his wife, feeling her vulnerability, and hugged her tight, kissing the top of her head. 'Okay, I don't think that's asking too much.' Beth returned the hug, lifting herself to gently kiss him. 'Thank you, Clark. I love you so much. You and our dear boys remain forever in my world.'" With that, she poured them coffee and sat down as they heard the boys coming. THIRD PERSON'S POV. Just outside the picturesque town of Sewanee, Beta Mack sat in deep contemplation at the majestic boardroom table within the ancient castle. As the former beta to the old Alpha King, it had been a quarter of a century since a new Alpha King was crowned, and 18 years since the tragic demise of the old Alpha King and the Luna Queen. With a furrowed brow, he turned to the dedicated team of trackers, eager to hear the results of their investigation. "Status report, please," he requested, his tone filled with anticipation. "Affirmative, Beta. We have successfully located our potential Alpha Kings. Their upcoming birthday is just a week away. They were adopted by a human couple by the names of Clark and Beth Lorenz, and they currently reside in the serene town of Jacksonville, Oregon," reported one of the trackers. "Thank you. Now that we have official confirmation, it’s imperative that we bring our Alpha Kings home and disclose to them their destined roles. Untrained, their immense power could easily overwhelm them. They must be educated on how to harness their extraordinary abilities and connect with their wolves, as they are fated to become the most influential supernatural beings in the world. We need to reach them before their first shift; our adversaries will undoubtedly sense their presence and recognize the formidable power they possess. They require our protection and guidance," Beta Mack emphasized, his voice unwavering with conviction. Addressing the team, he continued, "Let's set the plan in motion. I want our arrival to coincide with a few days prior to the future Alpha King’s birthday. We must meticulously survey the area and ensure that we do not encroach upon the territory of other supernatural beings. Our approach must be as discreet as possible to avoid attracting attention, particularly concerning our pack. Witnessing their first shift in person and explaining the situation directly to them is crucial. We cannot afford for them to be mistaken as Rogue wolves. It's paramount to shield them and the honorable family that has provided for them over the past 15 years." As he contemplated the challenges ahead, Beta Mack found himself yearning for the wisdom and support of his dearest friend, the former Alpha King. With a wistful sigh, he silently sought the strength and guidance to fulfill this weighty responsibility. I will try my best to do right by you, my old friend. I will guide them the way you would have if you were here, you and your mate.
