The was a king name Alex, he inherite the throne from his father's, and the kings ruled with absolute authority, his unwavering devotion to the god of his forefathers Akan Ekpe
Akan Ekpe is a ancient legendary god, that was mould by the king's forefathers, and the king worship only akan ekpe,
And the kings expect everyone to do the same by worshipping the gods of his forefathers and any unshakeable loyalty from his subjects will not be tolerated.
The kingdom prospered under the King leadership, and he's ready to put an end to anyone who dares to worship any other god about from the god of his forefathers, so that very fear knowing the consequences of worshipping other god's in the Kingdom of Hakem left everyone speechless with great fear, so this made, his subjects whispered among themselves, sharing stories of the king's wrath towards those who dared to question his bline devotion

As the kings guard approached, the villager for the arrest of the stranger when the villagers saw them coming, the know that the penalties or consequences of worshipping other god's about from the god's of the king, so they flee away from the stranger
And the guard arrest the strange, and he was taken away to the palace,
The King seethed with anger, how dare you challenge the power of Akan Ekpene..?

The stranger said, my name is David and I have in peace
The king said to him, my god Akan Ekpe i will pissess you
(he spat at David) You will pay for your insolence
I will ensure that I peeled out the flesh out of your bones and feed them to my dogs
(David stood tall, his eyes shining with a peaceful light) he then said i serve Jesus Christ, the one true God he said (his voice firm but gentle)
He is the God of love, mercy, and grace
(King Alex sneered)
Love hmmm?
Mercy and Grace,
Akan Ekpene shows no mercy to those who disobey him and with that (he ordered the guard to throw David into the dungeon) David was thrown into the dungeon, left to rot for his supposed crime but little did King know his actions would set off a chain of events that would shake the very foundations of his kingdom
Death struck the kingdom of Hakem starting with the noble boy, the boy's mother rushed to the palace with tears in her eyes your majesty (She shouted) My son is dead my son is dead, pleading for help from King, please Your Majesty save my son she begged.
(tears streaming down her face) the king confident in the power of his god assured her that the god's of his forefathers will bring her son back to life, and he assure her that everything will be alright, but as more deaths followed, another woman rushed in the palace crying, my king my king she beg with tears in her eye's my son is dead, my king please ask the god of your forefathers to save him please, when the king saw this faith began to waver,
Queen Jessica, arrived at the palace her face etched with grief our son is gone,
Alex, What have we done to deserve this(she ask the king)
desperate, the King turned to the powerful herbalist, Akan Ekpe, who demanded rare items to bring the children back to life and the king is willing to try anything, by fulfilled the demands, but the rituals failed
as the kingdom fell deeper into despair, King Alex began to doubt Akan Ekpe's power.
The people were confused, doubting the power of Akan ekpe, asking them self questions
(I thought Akan Ekpe is a very powerful god, why is he not responding to our ritual) but little did King know that the key to saving his people lay with the man he had locked away.
The Unexpected Guest
The king sat on his throne thinking his mind was a jumble of emotion he started talking to his selfhow can this be,
am I too blind to see that the god's of my forefathers is not even powerful, suddenly he heard a faint knock at the door but to his surprise it was Queen Jessica who stood before him her eyes shining with a determination he had never seen before Alex, I have come to talk to you about the stranger(she said),
her voice firm.
King Alex raised an eyebrow (What about him)
I've been thinking... maybe we were wrong to imprison him Maybe his God is the answer to our prayers
The King the king look at her, yuyou can't be serious
Akan Ekpene has always been our god but Queen Jessica stood her ground I know, but what has he done for us lately.
"Our children are dying, our crops are failing, please it's high time we try something new my lord stated the queen", King Alex was taken aback he had never seen his wife so passionate about anythings regarding the kingdoms affairs.
Finally the king yielded, and he said very well, I would give it a trial for the love, well being and development of this Kingdom and listen to what the stranger has to say. Afterwards he summoned David from the dungeons into the palace, David stood before the king, his eyes shining with calm and confidence, the King still wary gestured for him to speak. David stated my GOD, "Jesus Christ", is the one true GOD of love, mercy and grace, He would heal your children, restore your crops and bring peace with harmony to your kingdom.
King Alex snorted. "And how can He do that
David smiled. "Through faith. If you trust in Him, He will work miracles in your life."
King Alex raised an eyebrow. "And what of Akan Ekpene?"
David's expression turned gentle. "Akan Ekpene is a false god, a mere idol. He has no power to save or to heal."
The king's face darkened, but Queen Jessica intervened before he could speak.
"Let us hear him out, my lord," she said. "We have nothing to lose."
And so, David shared his message of hope and redemption with the king and queen. He told them of Jesus' love, of His sacrifice, and of His power to transform lives.
As he spoke, a strange sensation settled over the palace. It was as if the very presence of God had entered the room.
The king and queen listened, entranced, as David spoke of the miracles Jesus had performed. They heard of the blind man who had received sight, the lame man who had walked, and the dead man who had been raised to life.
As David finished speaking, a sudden commotion erupted outside the palace. The king's guards rushed in, looking frantic.
"What is it?" King Alex demanded.
"It's the children, Your Majesty," one of the guards replied. "The ones who were sick... they're getting better!"
The king's eyes widened in shock. Could it be true? Was this the work of David's God?
Queen Jessica grasped her husband's arm. "Go and see for yourself," she urged.
King Alex hesitated, then rose from his throne. He followed the guards to the courtyard, where the sick children were being tended.
And there, before his very eyes, he saw the miracle. The children were laughing, playing, their faces flushed with health.
The king turned to David, who stood beside him, a gentle smile on his face.
It's true King Alex whispered. Your God is real."
David nodded. "I told you, Your Majesty. Jesus is the God of miracles."
The king's heart swelled with emotion. He knew what he had to do.
King Alex fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face forgive me, Jesus, he cried
I have been blind to your power I want to know you, i want to serve you, please Jesus forgive me, (David please beg your god for me the king begged David)
David placed a hand on the king's shoulder "You can know Him, your majesty, Just believe in him and open your heart to him, accept him as your god and personal saviour, let go of the old bad things that you use to do, he's alway ready to forgive your sin, as long as you ask him for forgiveness Alex prayed, the king surrender his life to Jesus as he did, a warmth spread through his chest, a sense of peace he had never known before follow through his heart.
The people cheer the king as he rose to his feet, a new man, from that day forward he declare that everyone in his kingdom shall worship no other god about from the god of the stranger, he turn ak face the stranger and say from today henceforth I my kingdom my generation will worship the true god Jesus Christ, the king told his guards to lose the chains from David hands, he then ask David to stay as his advisor, and together they transformed the kingdom, bringing hope and prosperity to the people and his kingdom, till this day, the King never forgot the lesson he learned that day, that true power comes not from idols or false gods, but from the one true God Jesus Christ.
