After she moved to college, she had a more okay space for herself and her dangerous thoughts. She jolted out of thought because of the loud music that blasted off the speakers. “What the f**k Jack?” Lily asked him and he only smirked. “Well, you know as always. We all need to go round and tell each other what we did since the last time we saw each other, before we get into the movie.” “What movie are we watching today though?” Lily asked because she was eager to get her mind off the thoughts on her mind. “I'm not giving you all the snippets today. Once we are done with the conversation time, then we can move into the movie.” He told us, and it was obvious that it was final as he plopped himself down beside the pool to relax. Sarah also did the same thing, and she passed me a chicken nugget. “Okay, so who should we start with?” Jack asked. “We should start with Lily. She had an eventful week with those hotties trailing behind her. I mean, what the hell are you using? I would like to know too. Have you seen those men?” “I have and that's true. I should start with you. How was the party?” Jack asked her and she shrugged. This was where one of her problems laid in conversations. Having conversations like this with them. It might not look stressful, but she didn't always like to talk about everything that she was going through, but it was not fair to not let them know. After all, they were all family and it was only right that they knew. “Well, it went well, actually. The party was fun. We danced. I taught him how to dance too. He's still very bad at dancing and I thought he would be better at it by now, but I guess old habits die hard, right?” She told them, and they just shook their heads in contempt. “I don't believe that's the type of information we wanted,” Sarah said with a mouth full of chicken nuggets or burritos, or whatever she was eating. “I mean, the hot one. Like you guys had to kiss after the night, right? Like that hot dress you wore was fire, you guys had to have felt a particular sizzling electricity, right? Like the urge to kiss and be on fire?” Jack assumed, and I shook my head, wanting to laugh. “Shut up dude, not everything is about those novels that you read, we are in real life f**k face.” She threw a piece of what she was eating at him. “Well, that's all a part of it. You know….” “Well, we didn't kiss, but he asked me out. Like told me to be his girlfriend.” Lily said, she decided to just tell them that. “Wait what? He did?” “Oh my god.” They both of them said at the same time, and they burst out laughing after they realized. Lily nodded slowly and they both punched the air. “Finally, you'll be having the fun you should have normally with your live life. It has been too boring these days,” Jack commented, and Lily frowned. What did he mean, too boring? “What did you say anyway?” He asked immediately. “I told him I had to sort my own feelings out first.” She replied to him and they both stared at her with their mouths hanging open. “Why do you guys look so stunned?” She asked them, chuckling awkwardly. “Because you're an alien.” “Have you seen that guy? He's like a walking six.” Jack screeched. “It's not all about looks, Jack.” She told him. “Why though?” Sarah asked her seriously, and she thought about telling them. It wouldn't hurt to open up to them this once, right? “Well, it's this other guy. I feel something about both of them. That's why I'm still trying to figure out, you know. With Alex, I know that I'll forever feel something for him. We were close friends from childhood and all that, but still, I can't, because of that, abandon everything and just go for him, you know.” “Well, that is also true.” Jack nodded his head. “Well, if we are to say the truth too, that man from the gallery is like a walking 12. He's too f*****g hot.” Sarah gushed. Well, the hot man hadn't reached out to her yet, she thought. “You'll be fine buttercup, your heart will tell you what ever you need to do okay?” Jack told her and she nodded. “I got you bitch.” “Okay now, what movie are we watching?” Lily asked Jack once again. She didn't like it when the attention was on her, it made her feel weird. “The breakfast club, you bitches.” The days went by so fast that she could bet that she had just closed her eyes and opened them, then Sunday was here. Why was everything moving this fast? She hasn't wanted anything to do with anybody the last few days. She has been overthinking herself and her demons have been trying to keep themselves in their cages. Yeah, she had demons, she was smart enough to know that not everybody had demons or stuff like that, so she tried to act normal. She wanted to be a very good daughter to her parents, because they deserved a good daughter. They had already done a lot for her, and she had to at least pay them back to an extent.. She loved them, but she didn't want them to see her with her demons. It was one of the reasons why she insisted on leaving home once she got into college. Her parents begged her to come to dinner today, and she had to go. She had already picked a floral dress and simple sandals, she didn't want to dress weirdly, not that she could. Sarah and Jack had already called her this morning and she was happy that they had done that. They changed her mood so fast, she liked the fact that they were always there for her, it made her feel happy, and it made her feel like she had people in her corner. She was the only child, maybe if she had a sister or something, then stuff wouldn't be this hard, she would have everything she wanted, and they would be close as ever. She sighed, erasing the thought from her mind as she wrapped her robe around herself, ready to start preparing for her outing. Her phone chimed, and she quickly checked who it was. It was an unknown number and she opened the message. It was simple. Miss me? She wondered who this was, who she was supposed to miss in this world? She basically had nobody that would say this, her relationship life was the worst, she was not like the other girls, who woke up expecting a text from a man or something. She was just neutral, so who could this be? She thought, after a while of hard thinking she gave up. Another message entered. You must have forgotten me in a very short period of time, Lacriz. Memories suddenly slammed into her, and she remembered who called her Lacriz. f**k, Ethan. He finally reached out? Her heart skipped a beat and thousands of beats dangerously before she calmed her heart and then thought of a suitable reply to give him. Good evening Mr Blackwood. She texted, biting her fingers as she expected a reply from him. She was suddenly nervous. Was the text too formal? She didn't even call him that when they were in each other's presence. This was weird, to be very honest, what was he going to reply with? She was very curious to know what he actually would say.
