Chapter 1-A Small Dream
Chapter 1-A Small Dream
Emma lived in a tiny house with her mother. Life was never easy for them. Every morning, she woke up early, helped her mother, and went to school with tired eyes but Big dreams in her heart
While other students had expansive phones and beautiful bags, Emma carried an old book and silent hopes. But Deep inside, she believed one day her life would change.
"one day, I will make my mother proud," she whispered to herself.
The next day at school, Emma sat quietly in her classroom while her classmates laughed and talked happily. She often felt different from them because of her poor background, but she never complained.
During lunch break, Emma stayed alone and completed her homework. Her teacher noticed her dedication and said, "Emma, you are one of the most hardworking students I have ever seen."
Those words gave Emma hope. For the first time in a long while, she smiled confidently. She realized that even though life was difficult, her determination was stronger than her problems.
The Hardest Day
One rainy evening, Emma's mother became sick.
Emma was scared because they did not have enough money for medicines. She sat beside her mother the whole night, holding her hand tightly.
"Don't worry, Mom. I will do something for us," Emma said with tears in her eyes.
The next morning, Emma went to school even though she had not slept properly. Her clothes were old, and some students laughed at her appearance. But Emma ignored them and focused on her studies.
After school, she started searching for small online jobs on her old phone. She wanted to support her mother and continue her education at the same time.
Days passed, and life became more difficult. Sometimes there was not enough food at home, but Emma never stopped dreaming. Every night before sleeping, she looked at the stars and whispered, "One day, my life will change."
One afternoon, her teacher called her after class and handed her a small scholarship form.
"You are talented, Emma," her teacher said kindly. "Never give up on yourself."
Emma held the paper carefully. For the first time in months, she felt a small light of hope inside her heart.
