Alice opened the door just to see Clara seated on her bed with the documents she took from the lock, Clara was more than shocked to see Alice back at home.
“What are you doing in my room?” Alice said.
“You're back already,” Clara said.
“Yh, what are you looking for in my room?” Alice repeated her question.
I… I…. I….. Clara stammered.
“Are you a stammerer?” Alice questioned.
"I'm looking for my diary, I think I left it here this morning," Clara lied.
"It's okay, you may leave, if found by me I would return it" Alice replied after thinking for a while.
“Thanks sis” Clara muttered and left.
After Clara left Alice noticed that her wardrobe was turned upside down, so scattered, she was excited that Clara didn't see the secret map her mom left for her which she kept under her pillow.
“Phew, such a relief,” Alice said.
★★★ CLARA'S POV ★★★
“Mom why didn't you tell me that Alice was coming home, I was almost caught red handed” Clara screamed furiously at her mom over the phone.
“I'm sorry dear, she only told me she was going to the shopping mall bathroom, I didn't know she went home” Mrs Emma said.
“Mom, you gotta be careful next time,” Clara said.
“Are you still angry at mommy?” Mrs Emma said.
“No, I'm not angry,” Clara replied.
“Thanks baby” Mrs Emma replied and hung up.
I just heard what the mother and daughter were discussing. I didn't mean to bring my ears to their conversation, but the way Clara was screaming got me to ears drop, I can't believe it. I have to be careful.
SHOPPING MALL
Dad, I'm back, Alice said.
It took you so long, Mr Desmond replied.
Yh, I'm sorry Alice said.
It's okay, I bought you a gown, when we get home you would put it on Mr Desmond said.
Okay pop's Alice replied with a cute smile.
You guys forgot about Clara, Mrs Emma said.
Okay, get her a dress Mr Desmond said.
Sure Mrs Emma said and left.
Immediately she left Alice to draw Mr Desmond to a silent place.
Guess what I saw at home when I went Alice said.
Just tell me Mr Desmond replied curiously.
“Clara was busy searching my wardrobe at home when I went she was so shocked to see me,” Alice said.
“It's okay for now, I think Emma is coming,” Mr Desmond replied.
Yh Alice replied.
What were you talking about, are you both talking about Clara Mrs Emma said.
Yeah Alice said.
What were you both saying Mrs Emma said.
It's a surprise for her, Alice said.
Do you think I'm a fool? I heard what you were saying about Clara. How dare say I'll about her. Mrs Emma said furiously, ready to give a dirty slap to Alice's face but a strong hand stopped her.
Alice was ready for the slap but fortunately a hand stopped her.
Why would you raise your hand at your fellow woman The young guy said.
And how is that your business Mrs Emma said.
Are you okay sweetie Mr Desmond said.
I'm dad Alice
Thank you so much mister I'm very grateful I must say Mr Desmond said.
It's my pleasure, the unknown guy said and left.
Alice let's go, Mr Desmond said and left.
I was about to enter the car when the door was closed and the car drove off.
“How could you Desmond, Alice I would make you pay for this” Mrs Emma said.
“How would I get a cab now?” she said as she sat down at the mall's bench.

“Welcome home mom,” Clara said.
“Where is mom?” She questioned no one in particular.
“Alice, where's my mom?” Clara asked.
“Your mom, ohhhhh I forgot we left her at the shopping mall” Alice said.
“WHATTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!” Clara said.
“How could you?” She said,
“Ohh you could ask dad about it, he left her there” Alice said.
“Why would he do that?” Clara said.
“You could ask him yourself,” Alice said.
“Ohh you are making me furious, would you just tell me what happened?” Clara said.
“Nah I'm not saying anything, just in my room,you make the room stink” Alice said just to make her angry.
“How dare you,” Clara said.
“And how dare you too,” Alice replied.
“I would be back for you,” Clara said, turning around and leaving.
Who are you talking to, Alice said.

Humph Clara said.
How come home all wet, and it's still raining heavily? She might have caught a cold so many thoughts kept running through my mind, I couldn't control my head again.
Sarah brought me my car key , Clara said.
Okay young madam Sarah said.
Clara said, "Be fast about it.

Ohhhhh mom you look so frail Clara said.
How come you didn't get a cab she asked again.
Clara just took me home. I'm already weak, I can't say much about the matter Mrs Emma said.
I will make sure Alice pays for her deed Clara swore.
Just take me home for the main time Mrs Emma said.
Okay mom,get in the car Clara said.
DESMOND RESIDENCE
Sarah Sarah Clara shouted.
Yes ma'am Sarah replied.
Get a hot soup for madam Clara said.
Okay ma'am Sarah replied.
Mom I'm coming, lemme bring you a blanket Clara said.
Alice stood close to the stairs climbing down, to make a hot tea for Mrs Emma.
Ohh you, I would make sure you pay for this Clara said.
It's okay to be angry Alice replied and walked away.
KITCHEN
Sarah, where is the cup kept now, I can't find them, Alice said.
It's in the upper cupboard Sarah replied absentmindedly.
Okay thanks Alice said.
That was when Sarah looked up.
I'm so sorry ma'am Sarah.
It's okay Alice replied and left.
Mom here, have it, it would make you feel warm Alice said offering Mrs Emma a cup of tea.
I don't need it just get out of my side Mrs Emma yelled.
Oops, it looks like someone doesn't want my tea, Alice said.
But it's still okay, she added and went back to the kitchen.

Ma'am the soup is ready Sarah said.
Bring me a bowl of soup , Mrs Emma said.
Sure ma'am Sarah replied and left.
It's so delicious and also the way I love it, brings me more Mrs Emma said.
Ma'am this is the last bowl of soup Sarah replied.
Go make a new one Clara ordered.
I don't know the recipes Sarah said as she bowed her head.
What do you mean? , ain't you the one that made this soup Mrs Emma said.
No, Mrs Alice made it Sarah replied.
WHATTTTTTT!!!! That p*****t made the soup, I hope she hasn't poisoned the soup Mrs Emma said.
She drank the soup herself Sarah said wondering why the pair of mother and daughter doesn't like Alice.
Hmmph Clara said and left for the stairs.
