The next day

She crashed on the ground, covering the kids using her wings. But to her surprise, the ground seemed to have turned soft. She opened her eyes to check, it was Blaze. He helped her get up and she felt her wings going inside. The relief washed over her as she felt tears running down her cheeks. “Are you okay? What happened?” the concern made Alba tears get uncontrollable as she hugged him. It was good to be back. As relaxation washed over her, she fell unconscious. Alba woke up to see Blaze sleeping beside her bed, holding her hand. Her body felt all sore and her fidgeting woke him up. “Are you okay?” the relief was clearly visible on his face. “Yes. But a lot of weird things happened that I didn’t understand.” She said and explained everything in utmost detail. “It was desire based monsterization. When a person with strong magic desires something, or is walking on eggshells in life, their magic tries to take a control over them, creating a new personality in them. And if in that moment they decide to take the easy way, that is, to seek help from that new personality, the new monster self takes control of everything in their life bit by bit, until they are the only personality alive. It is very dangerous situation!” Blaze explained, taking a deep breath in the end. “They how do we save her?” “Monsterization takes 4 to 6 months. We will go to save her in a month. You need to prepare so that you can defend yourself before we go, at the very least.” “We are going to leave her with that monster for a month!” “Do you want to go without preparation and get killed then, and that monster is a part of her, it won’t hurt her.” Alba nodded, though she understood, she couldn’t help worrying about Crimson when a man knocked at her door, he had a pale complexion, light brown eyes and long blonde hair that were held by a hairband, and he wore a green and white check shirt along with trousers. He opened his large case, blindfolded his eyes and asked maids to put on herbs on Alba, before he used his magic to heal all her wounds. With a lot of relief in her pain and thoughts of Crimson in her mind, she went to sleep.   Before even dawn appeared, Alba was ready in her practice dress as she was all healed up. At the breakfast table, she sat across Blaze, hardly making any eye contact. At the training ground, the mare seemed as violent as before but Alba couldn’t feel any fear from it as she mounted her. It jumped in rejection, but Alba pulled the reins tighter. A while later, it stopped resisting and bowed to her force. The endurance training seemed way easier as well, for the created beast seemed to have slowed down, or Alba had gotten faster. “After all this, we will start with wings control training.” Kevin announced. After taking a quick break, they started the shooting training. The focus seemed to be absent, as the arrow were not hitting close to the target. Her bow broke, because the amount of force she used. Knowing nothing better to do, she crouched there itself, crying in frustration. Sir Raymond rushed over and placed a hand on her shoulders; “It is all going to get better!” he patted lightly on her shoulders. “Get up!” a stern voice came, it belonged to Kevin. “If you cannot fight for what you want, you have no right to cry for it. Want to save her, fight with yourself every time it feels too tough!” Alba got up, he had a point. She can’t cry, especially if it meant losing another moment of getting close to her rescue! She got up, ready to try again. They began the wings controlling. Sir Raymond clicked his fingers and a wall appeared on all the sides of Alba, and a baby dragon came towards her. It breathed out fire, and though Alba couldn’t see her skin burning, she could feel it. “Wings, please come out!” she cried in pain, and they appeared. The moment she came out of the formation, the pain was gone and the wings seemed easier to command. Though she crash landed on the ground near the end, it was overall the fruitful session. When she got up, she saw their shocked faces. “You seem to have magic of more elements than just fire and ice. No wonder they wanted to kill you!” “What does that mean?” “The color of the wings denotes the type of magic a person has. Krystallos is the kingdom of ice, so they have crystal white wings. Conleth is the kingdom of fire, so royalties have orange wings and same is with other kingdoms, wings according to element. But your wings are turquoise and aqua wings crystal looking wings!” “Oh, so which kingdom royalties have grey wings?” “Zephyr, the kingdom of wind!”  “Okay!” Alba nodded, thinking carefully. After dinner, she went to her room, but the emptiness seemed to be killing her. After trying for a while, she sneaked to Blaze’s room. He was sleeping in an attention position, with his well-defined features looking way more stunning. She shook him lightly, but instead was tackled by him who held her by her neck, making it unable to breathe. Blaze let go the moment he realized it was her. “Sorry sorry, why are you running around so late?” Blaze asked, getting in his senses. “I can’t sleep!” she said, between her coughs. “So, do you want to talk?” “No, I want to sleep in this room.” Blaze seemed stunned hearing this. Alba pushed him lightly to a corner, placed two pillows in between and lay on one side. “Good night. Sweet dreams.” She said before drifting off.
