Mara breakthrough

"wake up you lazy bone , your brother is going to school why haven't you made his breakfast yet and my clothes needs ironing before you go to your new school." Naomi shouted at Mara, she is her step-mother. Mara's mother died due clinical complications and her father married Naomi shortly after and had a son Her step-brother Michael is two years younger than Mara . " okay Ma'am am awake ," Mara said as she woke up and got out of bed . it's always like that so she went and made breakfast and ironed Naomi's clothes then she prepared herself to go to school . she rarely see her father and when he's home he doesn't pay much attention to her unless he has something to tell her. She always feels the unfairness of life every day ,it's not that they can't afford a house help but Naomi says it's important for a lady to know how to take care of the house and they can't waste money on that trivial matter yet she goes shopping as a means to releave stress . Mara has been used to it for she has,had to do the same thing from when she could remember , her mother left when she was very young and now Mara has no idea or doesn't remember how it felt for someone to care and love her.
