The moment I opened my eyes, all I saw was white. It seemed like I was in a hospital. I tried to recall what happened last night. I was about to meet Arnold. Then Gideon suddenly showed up as his driver.
Then we argued inside the car. We both didn’t see that a truck was coming in our direction. My eyes widened after that. Where is Gideon? I was about to get off the bed when a nurse suddenly came in.
“Miss, what are you doing? You can’t move too much.” She said in a panic, running towards me. He helped me to get back to the bed. “I’m fine… I need to see him. Where is Gideon?” I asked her. “Miss, you’re still in shock, and one of your arms was injured.” She said, eyes looking down towards my hand.
“Where is he? The man that came with me?” I asked her. “He’s still in the ICU.
