Fallon POV
I was right when I said this is going to be awkward. I sat beside him on the long sofa inside the VIP room while Kiara was watching us, looking curious. “You guys know each other?” she suddenly asked, clearing her throat. I could feel that Roger went stiff beside me, but I didn’t dare to look in his direction.
“Um…she once worked in Fashlux as my PA,” Roger said, taking me by surprise. I never thought that he would tell Kiara this. Kiara furrowed her eyebrows, thinking hard. “This is weird…I knew all of your PA. Why can’t I remember Mrs. Barlowe?” Kiara asked back.
He blew out a breath. “You were still a kid back then. You met her once at home.” Roger then told her. I don’t think I could continue this any longer. I stood up from the sofa, startling both of them.
