Rooms

Michael’s POV Ding! Room 505, Raphael and I are in the same room. Ding! Yours is 506, somebody else is already there. Somebody else? As long as it’s not some annoying guy then I might refrain from getting him kicked off campus so I could be alone. Such thoughts run through my head as I saw Gab’s message on my way to the dormitory.  -- ”It’s been a long time, Michael”, greeted Raphael as soon as I came out of the service. ”Where is Gab?”, I asked as the chauffeur brought out my little amount of belongings. It is really little since I have only brought a change of clothes and money.  ”It seems he’s on a raid today”, Raphael lead the way to the staircase, ”We have yet to take our orientation, but he is already lazing around, I worry for the future.”, he sighed. Just then I realized what could have been the real reason why Gab didn't greet me at the front, ”Raphael... By any chance, does this dorm not have any elevator???” ”It seems so.” Raphael answered nonchalantly. Of all dorms, why did it have to be the one without an elevator? And who in the world agreed for our rooms to be on the 5th floor? ”Let’s go, I have your room keys with me.” Ha, I see... it’s this moron over here. ”Hey give me that and carry my belongings.” I threw my bag over to Raphael and went ahead as soon as I got the keys. I heard him shout ”wait!” when I was already a stair flight ahead, but I ignored him. I am too curious about how my room would possibly be, the place didn’t seem so run down, but the fact that it has no elevator have erased any expectations I had.  Reaching the fifth floor is not so hard, but it is a nuisance to climb back and forth if ever I need something outside.  As I climb the stairs, I decided on whether I would go to Gab first and look at their room or straight to my room and meet my roommate.  It didn’t take me long to decide. As I opened the door, I saw the back of what seemed like a goddess. I didn’t notice that it was going to be a full moon today until now. Her black hair reflected the light of the moon radiantly as she turned to me slowly, ”Who?” I heard her mutter. I checked the room number, 506... It’s correct, but why is there a girl here? ”You, are you sure this is your room?”, rude as one might say, I asked her this without introduction, pretending not to hear the words that she muttered. She stared at me for what felt like an hour until she finally blinked and confirmed. ”Yes, 506 is my room number.”
