As we approached, the view was magical. No other words can describe it. The lagoon looked frozen but up closely, you could see the water was just really quiet. The trees… those were gigantic!
They were inside the water. The trunks were about four story tall and wide enough to hold two apartments with three bedrooms each. They had many branches; some had leaves and flowers, some were dead but still standing proud and magnificent.
We took a little boat at the edge of the lagoon.
“That doesn´t look very stable… I know how to swim but I don´t like cold water…”
