"My Lord, the girl hasn't eaten anything since she woke up. It's evening now, don't you think she's starving?" Alucard asked, his gaze fixed on Damien.
The two men sat elegantly in a dimly lit room at the highest part of the castle. Skulls adorned the walls, remnants of ancient creatures, including the rumored extinct dragons. The room lacked windows but was illuminated by a chandelier and a scattering of candles.
Damien, seated majestically in one of the chairs, was engrossed in an ancient book, while Alucard sipped his wine gracefully.
Damien replied solemnly, his eyes still focused on the book, "I instructed the servants to attend to her every need. If she were hungry, she would have asked for food."
Amused, Alucard chuckled. "I can hear her stomach grumbling from here. She's being stubborn. We should invite her to join us for dinner, Master Damien."
Alucard observed Damien's expression intently, noting his silence and lack of concern. Satisfied, he sent a servant to invite the prisoner for dinner.
In Lysandra's room, which felt more like a prison, she sat on the floor, her back leaned against the door. Tears had left her eyes swollen and her hair disheveled. She had spent hours trying to unlock the doors, desperate to escape.
The uppermost location of her room prevented any attempts through the windows. Lost in thoughts of Kyle and her friends, her heart heavy with pain, regret, and guilt, Lysandra was startled by a knock on the large doors.
"Please excuse me, my lady. I'm coming in," a young girl's voice gently filled the room. Lysandra stood up, cautious and fearful, moving backward as the door opened.
To her surprise, the visitor was a servant girl, dressed in attire that distinguished her role. The young girl shared Lysandra's blonde hair and had striking black eyes. Surprisingly beautiful for a servant, she seemed timid as she approached her.
"P-please, I need to get out of here. I have to find my friends," Lysandra pleaded, walking toward the girl. "Please, I need your help. Please, help me escape."
"I'm sorry, my lady, but I cannot assist you," the servant girl sadly replied, gently freeing her hands from Lysandra's grasp. "Lord Damien wants you to join him for dinner, my lady."
Lysandra's anger grew, and she half-shouted, "No, I will not! He locked me up like a prisoner for hours, and now he offers me dinner? I just want to leave. Please, help me escape."
"I truly apologize, but escape is impossible, my lady," the servant girl said, suddenly kneeling and bowing, causing Lysandra to become even more surprised.
"P-please, my lady, I'll be punished if you don't come with me. Lord Damien doesn't tolerate defiance," the servant girl pleaded, trembling in fear.
Understanding the girl's predicament, Lysandra hesitated for a moment before relenting. "Fine, I'll do it. But promise me you'll answer my questions after dinner?" She helped the servant girl to her feet, her sobbing slowly subsiding.
"I promise, my lady. Thank you very much," the servant girl replied, her eyes teary but with a smile.
"It's fine, and please stop calling me my lady, I'm Lysandra. What is your name?" She asked with a kind smile, intrigued by the servant girl's polite and calm nature.
"I cannot, my lady. It goes against my instructions," the young servant girl replied meekly. Lysandra nodded, understanding the girl's obligation.
"My name is Ophelia , my lady, but you can call me Leia,"
*****
Ophelia led Lysandra to a hall which was the dining hall, and for a few seconds, she lost her breath and her senses as she was in complete awe at how flamboyantly beautiful and magnificent the dining hall was.
Lysandra stood in awe as she entered the large hall. The magnificent dining hall was adorned with a golden, elongated table made of glass-like transparent material.
Beautiful golden candle stands were carefully placed on each side of the table, casting a warm glow over the room. Surrounding the table were exquisite golden chairs, adding to the opulence of the setting. The silver-designed ceilings boasted an enormous and intricate chandelier, creating a mesmerizing centerpiece.
The walls and floors of the hall shimmered with a golden hue, giving the entire space a majestic and extravagant appearance. Lysandra couldn't help but think that this room was a stark contrast to the cramped confines she had been locked up in.
Although the hall had about twenty chairs, only four people occupied the space, dining gracefully and sipping from their glasses. Unbeknownst to Lysandra, the contents of those glasses were not wine, but rather, blood.
"Ah, it's good to see you, Lysandra. Please have a seat and join us for dinner," Alucard said as he gestured towards an empty chair, his smile radiating charm and allure.
Lysandra was captivated by the impossibly good-looking individuals in the dining hall. While Alucard may not have possessed the same level of attractiveness as Damien, he exuded a captivating beauty with his radiant white locks and muscular physique.
Seated next to him was Lilith, who shot Lysandra a hostile glare, her flawless face marred by a frown.
On the opposite side of the table sat a young man, his delicate features captivating Lysandra's gaze. With his black hair and deep blue eyes, he appeared more approachable compared to the others in the room. And at the head of the table sat Damien, exuding an otherworldly majesty as he locked his gaze with Lysandra.
It puzzled her how a man could be more strikingly beautiful than any woman she had encountered.
Lysandra scolded herself for finding beauty in a man who had taken her captive.
"Thank you," She reluctantly murmured her gratitude and took her seat at the far end of the table, trying to create as much distance as possible between herself and these enchanting creatures. With great effort, she focused on her food and attempted to dismiss Damien's intense gaze from across the table.
"I don't believe we have had the pleasure of an introduction. I am Alucard, the vampire king," he said, a friendly smile gracing his lips as his eyes remained locked on Lysandra, who continued to eat.
"Perhaps she truly was famished," Alucard mused internally, eliciting a brief chuckle. The sound caught Lysandra off guard, causing her to halt her eating abruptly, consumed by the fear that the captivating vampire king was mocking her for her lack of proper etiquette.
She shifted her gaze towards him, and in that moment, she couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance between the vampire king and Damien. It dawned on her that Alucard was merely Dracula spelled backward, leading her to conclude that he must be Dracula's son.
However, the mystery remained as to why Alucard held the title of vampire king instead of Damien.
"I'm Lysandra," she quietly introduced herself.
"That's a beautiful name," Damien replied with a smile.
"So, what exactly are you?" Lilith harshly questioned, her gaze piercing into Lysandra.
"I don't understand your question," Lysandra replied timidly, her fear of Delilah growing with each passing moment. She suspected her to be a witch, a demon, or perhaps even a vampire.
"I see, so you're just a dumb girl with a pretty face," Delilah sneered with a smirk, leaving Lysandra momentarily speechless. Before she could respond, a blonde-haired man with golden irises entered the room, captivating Lysandra's senses with his breathtaking beauty. looked at Lysandra with hostility and a frown on her perfect face.
Opposite the duo, on the other side of the table, was a young man with delicate looks. He had black hair and deep blue eyes and looked lazily at Lysandra. He was the one who appeared least intimidating to Lysandra. And at the head of the table was none other than Dravadon, who sat majestically on his golden chair, gazing at her. It was still a mystery to Lysandra how a man could look infinitely more beautiful than every woman she had seen.
"What's wrong with you, Lysandra?" she scolded herself for admiring a man who had kidnapped her.
"I don't understand your question?" Lysandra responded timidly, her anxiety mounting with each passing moment. She couldn't help but suspect that Lilith might be a witch, a demon, or even a vampire.
"Seems like you're just a pretty face without brain," Lilith sneered, her smirk adding to the hostility in her expression. Lysandra was momentarily silenced by the cutting remark, taken aback by the venomous words. Before she could gather her thoughts and respond, a blond man with dazzling golden irises entered the room, capturing Lysandra's attention with his breathtaking beauty.
