It was a very hectic period in school today. I had spent the whole day dozing off during lectures and if I wasn't dozing, I was plagued with extreme feeling of hunger. The moment the last lecture for the day ended, I quickly took my bag and disappeared from the hall. I was about hailing a cab to take me home, but then I remembered Ashley had made me promise to call her to come pick me up when lectures were over. I didn't feel good knowing I was unnecessarily stressing the woman, when I very well knew I could manage returning home on my own. But then again, a promise is a promise.
