A silk Tabriz Persian rug lies at his feet. He taps his fingers to the Gustav Holst’s suite, The Planets, which plays softly through the expensive speakers located around the room. The flames mesmerize him as they rise and fall in the fireplace. His servant stands near the door, awaiting his call. “Is it time, Jonathan?” “Almost, sir. Would you like your tea before it begins?” “Yes, that would be perfect.” The servant brings in a tray with an unopened box of tea, an unopened box of sugar, a carafe of hot water, and a teapot.
