AFTER PARKER AND GRUNER return to the conference room with Robert Sullivan’s personnel file, Taylor acquires everyone’s attention, “Team, Donna just brought up an excellent point. To date, Sullivan has operated with the relative security of avoiding discovery. Why wouldn’t he copy that now? Would he try to come back to base? If so, why and how?”
“Sir?” Donna raises her hand. “Does he need to be here physically to be here? I mean, can he do whatever he plans from somewhere remote?”
Parker turns to Taylor. “Did he have access to the MQ-9 Reaper? The security codes?”
“The codes changed immediately after the assassination attempt.”
“Who has access to the ciphers? Where and when were they created? Can the UAVs mobilize without a strike order?”
