INFORMED OF SULLIVAN’S escape, Parker creates a list of possibilities on the whiteboard.
“Team,” Taylor calls, “it’s a race against the clock, and every minute counts. We need your undivided attention. Sullivan is traveling in an MD 530 with a range of 300 miles, so he’ll land soon. Where is he headed and what’s his next move? Ideas?”
Gruner responds, “Most likely headed to D.C. He’ll dump the copter. Too easy to spot. He could take a commercial carrier.” He shakes his head. “Again, too easy to identify. He’ll expect us to put out a BOLO.”
“Hmm.” Jim rubs his chin. “I agree he’ll dump the chopper. As for options, he might drive to D.C., and then again, he may take an Amtrak.”
Donna puts her hand up. “Can we review the facts? I’m lost; there are too many possibilities.”
