22 Knox didn’t open the hardware store on Sunday, so we spent the day in bed. I’d never done that with a man before. Alone, sure. Watching movies and getting over a broken heart. But with a man who spent all day telling me how beautiful I was and how happy he was to be there with me? That was new. I debated skipping book club that night, but Knox encouraged me to go.
