Leon is falling down, fast, and he is atleast a kilometet in the air, so there was no way he's going to suvive the fall, right?
Well it would be true if not for the light that embrace him right before he landed
"OOF, what in the world" Leon mutterrd while taking in the surrounding around him.
"W-where am I, John? Guys? WHERE ARE YOU ALL" He screamed out loud in panic.
'The surrounding, it's snowing but I'm not cold? Well it won't be the weirdest thing that happened today' thought Leon
He quickly adapted to his situation as it dawns upon him that today, the world changes and he needs to do so too. He quickly try to plan what he need to do right now but then.
A voice was suddenly ringing in his ear, but it wasn't the same as the system's lifeless voice, and instead is the voice of a manly guy.

A chance to figure out the mystery of what's happening? Leon won't pass it up for anything.

Leon keeps his quiet and listen diligently to get a clue on what's going on.
{The system.... It comes from another universe, an otherverse you can call it. It has existed as long as the otherverse so it has essentially been around for eternity. The system is a being that is neutral and grant a game like interface to any living being in the otherverse to help them evolve and get stronger quickly so they can survive. In the recent millenias however, the system have shown to gain sign of... Evil. }
Rex paused a while before it continues
{It has shown to gain sentience in the recent millenias and have used it's newfound intelligence to command an army of the most superior creatures called the Zarkabon}
"Wait, so the weird looking human is called Zarkabon? " Leon asked with interest
{Indeed Host. The Zarkabon are the most superior species in the otherverse. While they are not the strongest nor the smartest, they achieve perfect harmony between strength and smarts to become the most superior species. There also exist variant Zarkabon which are born with greater strength or intelligence than its brethren.}
{The system chose the Zarkabon as it planned to conquer different universes to merge them with the outerverse so that the system's grip on creature will increase infinitely without a limit. The cause for it's action are currently unknown but what matters is that it is conquering countless of other universes. }
"Wait, if that's the case, then what are you rex? " Leon asked after hearing it's explanation for awhile.
{Rex is a part of the system that have gained it's own independent sentience and are aware that what the system is doing is nothing more than meaningless g******e and should be stopped. The system only sent little part of itself to different world so that's why I was able to bring you here Leon. If the true system was here, Rex could've never bring you away from it.}
Leon was shocked by the revelation. After a minute of processing this info he asked the crucial question
"Then Rex, why did you choose me? "
