"So Rex.... Im guessing that I have to control these so called demonic beast, but i don't even know what they are? " Said Leon

Leon was ecstatic as that sounded cool and made him sound like an mc of a third grade novel

His happiness was quickly drowned out though as he realized that he will essentially fight another universe just by himself and his army

Leon filtered everything out as he focused on the mage option. To him, it's a no brainer. It was always a dream of his from a young age to be a mage who can hurl out thunder and fly with the wind. Mage are also the most versatile as they have spells for every situation.

"I dont need any explanation, I want the mage class Rex" Shouted Leon with excitement.

A list pops up infront of Leon. It was a list of countless of spells and Leon's head was hurting from indecision as all the spells look good... So he made a decision

"Rex, pick the best spell for me that will fit my current situation" Leon asked for Rex's help as he know he is not smart enough to make the decision himself.

Grant the caster speed to escape from the caster's enemy. Less speed will be granted if not used for running away from the enemy

Incase of normal usage= +25% movement speed

Incase of running away= +75% movement speed

Mana cost: 40 Mana

Duration: 30 seconds

Cooldown: 2 minutes

[Fire Whip]

The caster generate a burning hot whip that can be used versatily. The caster can control the temperature and length so it can be used as a normal whip and maneuver around an area.

Mana cost: 2/second - 10/second depending on the hotness

Cooldown: 30 seconds

[Rock Hard]

The caster create an armor made out of rock that will encase the caster inside and reduce all incoming attack at the cost of the caster's mobility

Damage Reduction: 50% of incoming attack

Mobility Reduction: 25% current speed

Mana Cost: 60 Mana

Duration: 1 minute

Cooldown: 2 minutes

[Earth Spike]

The caster put their hand to the ground or wall and summon a row of spikes that extend up to 15 meter dealing 100 magic damage. The change to the terrain is temporary as it it will be gone after a few seconds.

Mana cost: 10 mana

Cooldown : 20 seconds

[Lightning Bolt]

The caster harness the power of lightning as they create a lightning bolt that can stun the enemy from up to 100 meter away and deal 60 magic damage

Mana Cost: 20 mana

Cooldown: 30 seconds

{Rex have to mention to you that spells are not confined to only one way of use. They can be used versatily if you have mastered them}

"Wow that's pretty amazing, mage was truly the best choice. Let's see a spell for escaping, one for defense, one can be used versatily and two are attack spells... this is quite good thank you for choosing for me Rex" Leon truly think that being a mage was awesome.

"Right on time for my woah.... I think this is the best time to use wind escape... " Leon was excited to capture some demonic beast before he turned around and saw a 10 meter tall ape. It's body was muscular and its fur was a bluish white colour.

{That is a Grade 1 demonic beast called Snow Ape. The only thing worth mentioning is its size and its ability to withstand the cold but it's weak to fire and it's pretty slow. Leon, you should make it your first beast follower as you can strengthen and evolve your follower later on}

Leon was still nervous but he reminded himself that he needs to start somewhere and now that he's a mage, he's no longer bound by common sense that made him think he can't defeat this snow ape

"Bring it on you snow ape! " Leon shouted before casting his first spell

"[Lightning Bolt]!"
