Connie advised Carson on Sunday morning, before they climbed out of bed, that after lunch he was taking Cammi to the subdivision’s childrens’ playground for an hour or so, so that she could sit in Cammi’s room and try to make contact with the spirit of Zianos. Carson did not argue.
With Cammi and Carson out the door and on their way to the playground, Connie checked herself in the mirror for the tenth time and nervously headed for Cammi’s bedroom.
