We Are All Dead

"Cheng Nuo, is that you?" Xu Yue seemed to forget that Cheng Nuo was already dead, her emotions suddenly becoming agitated. "Where is he? Where is Cheng Nuo now?!" "Please follow me." The man in black said as he boarded a luxurious yacht docked by the sea. Without any hesitation, Xu Yue obediently followed him onto the boat. "Su Yixia, this is bad!" Seeing Xu Yue follow the men in black onto the yacht, Jingjing's expression turned grim. "Will they hurt her?" "Jingjing, at this point, we can't just stand by anymore!" Taking a deep breath, Su Yixia seemed ready to go all out, determined to save Xu Yue no matter what. On the deck, Cheng Nuo stood expressionless, facing the sea with his back to the cabin. "Brother Cheng Nuo!" Xu Yue spotted Cheng Nuo on the deck at first glance. She excitedly ran over and hugged him from behind. "Brother Cheng Nuo, I miss you so much!" But suddenly, Xu Yue's eyes widened in fright, and she quickly let go. "You’re not Cheng Nuo! You’re not my Brother Cheng Nuo!" Cheng Nuo turned around, grinning wickedly at Xu Yue. "Xu Yue, come here, be good. I am your Brother Cheng Nuo. Don’t worry; I will take good care of you from now on!" "No, you’re not!" Xu Yue stepped back in terror, shaking her head vigorously. "You killed Brother Cheng Nuo! You’re a murderer!" As Xu Yue prepared to turn and flee, two men in black restrained her arms. Cheng Nuo stepped forward with a sinister grin, gently pinching Xu Yue's fair face. "Xu Yue, your face is really beautiful. It’s such a pity that it will soon disappear from this world!" "You bastard!" Xu Yue spat angrily at Cheng Nuo’s face. Cheng Nuo, losing patience, wiped his face and grabbed Xu Yue's chin, forcing her mouth shut. "You filthy little girl, I’ll tell you, your father was killed by me. Want to know how he died?" "So it was you who killed my dad!" Xu Yue cried, tears streaming down her face. "Why did you do this? Killing Cheng Nuo wasn’t enough? Why did you have to kill my dad too?" "Heh!" Cheng Nuo sneered. "You can only blame yourself for falling in love with Cheng Nuo. You can only blame your dad for being so rich. If he doesn’t go to hell, who will?" "I swear, a villain like you will die a terrible death! Heaven will take care of you!" Xu Yue’s eyes reddened as she shouted through gritted teeth. "Even if my dad becomes a ghost, he won’t let you go!" "Oh really? I’ll be waiting!" Cheng Nuo scoffed, then waved his hand at the men in black, who immediately started to drag Xu Yue away. At that moment, Jingjing and Su Yixia had quietly boarded the yacht, taking advantage of the remote location, so Cheng Nuo hadn’t bothered to have anyone guard the cabin. "Ah—" Cheng Nuo didn’t notice Jingjing and Su Yixia had arrived. He grabbed Xu Yue by the collar, turned around, and wickedly pushed her off the boat. "Xu Yue!" Su Yixia heard the scream and rushed out of the cabin, only to be stopped by the men in black. She caught a glimpse of a dark figure and Xu Yue falling into the sea. Cheng Nuo hadn’t expected Su Yixia to show up at that moment. Without hesitation, he jumped into the water. "Murderers! You’re all murderers!" Su Yixia yelled. Seeing Cheng Nuo had left, the two men in black exchanged glances, nodded, and abruptly released Xu Yue before leaving the yacht. Su Yixia and Jingjing had no time to remember what the men in black looked like; they rushed to the deck, clutching the railing and gazing at the swirling water below, their faces turning pale! They knew there was no hope for Xu Yue to survive this time! "Jingjing, did you see who pushed Xu Yue?" Su Yixia gritted her teeth and asked. No matter what, she had to find out who was responsible for Xu Yue’s death; she wouldn’t let her die unjustly! "I only saw black leather shoes!" Jingjing shook her head sadly. "But he jumped into the sea right after, so I couldn’t see anything else!" "Hopefully, the one who killed Xu Yue will have a terrible end!" Su Yixia spat through clenched teeth and pulled Jingjing's hand, turning to leave. "Jingjing, let’s go!" But when they reacted, the yacht had somehow started moving on its own, drifting into the sea. "This is bad, Su Yixia!" Jingjing was really scared upon seeing this. "What should we do now?" "Jingjing, don’t panic! Call for help!" Su Yixia quickly took out her phone to make a call, but sadly, she found there was no signal here. "Su Yixia, I’m so scared!" Jingjing felt it was truly terrifying and surreal. Why was the boat moving by itself? Suddenly, the boat shook violently, as if it had collided with something, and stopped moving. "Su Yixia, what’s happening?" Jingjing was terrified, her palms sweating. She remembered the movie Titanic, where everyone on the ship sank into the sea. Today, would she and Su Yixia suffer the same fate? "Jingjing, it seems the yacht hit something. Let’s go check it out!" Su Yixia rushed down the stairs leading to the cabin, and when she saw what was below, she froze in place. Water was gushing up from below, surging fiercely, and it quickly reached their knees. "Oh no!" Jingjing, who followed, screamed in fright. "Su Yixia, this yacht is sinking! What do we do? What do we do?" "Jingjing, don’t panic! We need to get up!" Su Yixia immediately grabbed Jingjing's hand and ran back up to the cabin, searching for life-saving equipment. After a long time, they only found one life jacket. "What do we do? There’s only one!" Jingjing was almost in tears. "Su Yixia, I don’t want to die! I’m not ready to die yet!" At this moment, they could feel the boat sinking rapidly. "Jingjing, you go first!" Without hesitation, Su Yixia handed the life jacket to Jingjing. "Quickly, go get help for me!" "But, Su Yixia!" To be honest, even with a life jacket, and despite swimming often at the pool, Jingjing was still afraid of the ocean. "No more 'buts'!" Su Yixia glared at her. "If you keep hesitating, we’ll both die here!" "Su Yixia, take care of yourself! I’ll come back for you!" Jingjing put on the life jacket and quickly jumped off the deck, closing her eyes and trying to imagine she was in a pool, swimming towards the shore. The yacht sank even faster than Su Yixia had imagined, water splashing out from the deck, and one side of the boat was already tilted toward the sea. Taking a deep breath, Su Yixia closed her eyes. "If this is heaven's arrangement, then so be it!" With that, she leaped into the water. She couldn’t swim, so the water quickly surged into her nose and eyes, making it increasingly difficult to breathe. She felt like she was about to die! No, she couldn’t die! What would happen to her brother? What about her mom?! Despite wanting to stay conscious, she ultimately lost her awareness… … "Su Yixia, wake up~" When she regained consciousness, she heard a gentle voice by her ear. She slightly opened her eyes, feeling a bright light shining down on her, hurting her eyes. She raised her hand to shield her eyes from the dazzling sunlight and noticed she was in a beautiful place filled with flowers, grass, mountains, water, and the chirping of birds. Looking ahead, she saw Cheng Nuo’s sunny smile. "Cheng Nuo, why are you here?" Su Yixia frowned and asked. "Su Yixia, do you know where this is?" Cheng Nuo smiled as he took her hand. "This is paradise, the most beautiful place in the world. Will you stay with me?" "Paradise?" Su Yixia frowned slightly at Cheng Nuo's words. "Why are you here? Why am I here?" “Su Yixia, we are all dead!” Cheng Nuo looked at her seriously and said, “I died a few days ago. I've been waiting for you here. I knew you would come to find me, right?” “You died? Impossible!” Su Yixia shook her head in disbelief, staring at Cheng Nuo. “But I saw you just yesterday! How could you be dead? You must be joking, right?” “Su Yixia, I really am dead!” Cheng Nuo looked at her earnestly. “I’m not lying to you. The Cheng Nuo you saw isn’t the real me. I have already died, Su Yixia!” “Then who is he? Who is he really?” Su Yixia pressed. But at that moment, Cheng Nuo suddenly vanished. The beautiful scenery around her disappeared, leaving her in a pitch-black void where she could see nothing. Fear gripped her. “Cheng Nuo, Cheng Nuo, where are you?” “Hahaha! Don’t be ridiculous!” A terrifying, devilish voice echoed from above. “You’ll never see him again!” “Who are you? Who are you?!” Su Yixia shouted, “Come out! Show yourself!”
