MAYA'S POV

"I asked my maid about what should I wear coming here today and she prepared me for this attire." Aurora excitedly said when she and the rest of the gang arrived at Celest's house. The maid decides business casual attire?

"Hold it beautiful," Thea said when she touched Aurora's shoulder. "You almost forgot about the gift." Gift?

Thea handed a gift bag to Aurora. "Oh yes. That's important." Did they all buy a gift for Celest's sister? I chuckled. "Alright then, come on. Let's meet the whole community." I lead them inside. I hope everything goes well.

"Celest," I called out for my friend. "Oh hey. Welcome. Come on in." She froze when she met face to face with Thea and the others.

"What a strong presence." She gulped down the saliva in her throat. Oh, I know. Thea does that a lot.

"Thank you for inviting us." Thea smiled. Celest could only nod. "If I may ask, where's your sister?" Aurora asked. "Oh yes." Celest looks for her sister at the backyard where the boys doing the barbecue.

"Maya, if you may introduce us all to everyone?" Oh! That's the real purpose here after all.

"Okay. This is Celest's grandparents. And that's my parents with Celest's parents." Both my parents and Celest's waved at us. "Follow me please." I lead the outside the backyard.

"That's my brothers and Celest's brothers." The boys froze up when Aurora and the others smiling at them.

"Hey, Aurora." Leon shyly said. "Hey, Leon." Aurora waved at him. Leon seems so timid when it comes to Aurora. Thea instantly showed her territory. Aurora could only smile at the situation.

"Leon, Simon, come here." My brothers walked up to us. "This is Stella, Luna, Ophelia, and Thea. We're in the student government together." They all shake hands. Thea was reluctant to shake Leon's hand but Aurora literally jabbed on Thea's side for her rudeness.

"Thank you for taking care of our little sister," Simon said. Did Simon just thank them all for my sake? Anyway...

"Let me introduce you to some of my friends." I lead them to a group of friends. "Guys, meet Lady Aurora, Stella, Luna, Ophelia, and Thea. They're in the student government with me in my new school." They have the same reaction when I told Celest about the student government.

"Sorry, I'm late guys. Someone and I'm not stating any names, decided to take over an hour to shower and get ready." Ugh, I don't even have to turn around to know the person who owns that disgusting voice behind me.

"Oh wow. Celest did mention about inviting someone from Monarch but I didn't think she meant THE Aurora." Is that the voice of the new w***e he chooses to be the girlfriend, well, annoying as ever.

"It's not fair that you know me but I don't know you," Aurora said. "Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Morris, and this is my girl, Rachel. Nice meeting you." Aurora used her eyes to tell me something.

I turned around and face my ex. "Oh Maya, I didn't recognize you. You look .... different." The new girlfriend wrapped her arms around Morris. "Rachel. So your Maya huh ..." if only I could hide underground. Aurora suddenly clapped.

"Oh, I almost forgot. My mother said you can meet her tomorrow. You know, for your fitting. The royal ball is this Saturday." Did she just mention that so I would look good in front of everyone?

"I'll keep that in mind." I smiled. "Lucky you to meet Autumn Heroux for your fitting. For me, I'm meeting Juliano." Stella sighed. Honestly, I never heard of that name before.

"Juliano as in Juliano Marquee?" Rachel asked. Stella nodded. "Yea. He's my family personal fashion consultant." Stella added. Is it just I or Rachel is hyperventilating.

"Your Meeting Juliano? I have to meet Paula. As you know, she can be quite a handful." Luna said.

"Paula?! Paula Laurie?! That famous designer?!" Rachel's breathing getting heavier. What is wrong with her?

"Lucky me that my own cousin will see me naked." Ophelia laughed. Wait, the fitting requires us to be naked? "Are you attending the ball as well Thea?" I asked the usually loudest person ever.

"Oh... yea. I am." That's it? No perverted comments whatsoever? "She just being nervous upon meeting Princess Braylin. Aurora and Braylin have this history together not long ago." Stella whispered in my ears.

"Stella..." Aurora warned her. Stella raised both hands.

"Wait, history with the princess, you're a lesbian?" Morris laughed it off. "There's no way that ..." he shut himself up when none of the elite laughings with him. "What's wrong being in love with the same gender? I don't see why it bothers you heterosexual." Oh no, Aurora is pissed.

"There's nothing wrong with it but, come on... where's the pleasure in that? You don't even have your own kid." Morris, you should just shut your foul mouth!

Thea finally looking up from her feet. "What did you say?" Thea asked Morris. "Where's the pleasure? Why does every straight couple only think about s*x? These hands ...." she showed her hands.

"It's not a crime now please calm down. You're scaring the kids." Seriously, something wrong with Thea today. She's not herself. Usually, she would joke around when someone commented on her relationship with Aurora.

I wonder what happens between her and the princess. Now that I know the princess and Aurora had a history together, she probably thinking about. "Hey, this is my sister." Celest introduced her sister to everyone.

Aurora personally handed the gift to Celest's graduated sister and for the first time, I saw that strict woman actually embarrassed about something. "Lucky you Huh." I joked. After that little comment, I noticed Morris and Rachel have been whispering to the others. What now?!

"Do you care for some barbecue, Lady Aurora?" I asked my grande soeur.

"Sure. Surprise me." I smiled and took a plate. I was just walking towards my brothers when I heard some of my closest friend talking about Aurora and the others.

"And here I thought someone from a prestigious academy would never fall into the life of sins." That actually tugged in my heart real bad. My closest old friends actually bad mouthing my grande soeur and new friends.

"And what's with the overly proud act she mustered up? Hello, b***h, this is a commoner gathering. She should just rot in their billion dollar bed." They actually hated them?

"Rachel was right. Maya is slowly becoming one of them. I'm not surprised if she's a snob in the future. I mean just look at the group of friends she brought. Such show off. Hell, before she even went to Monarch I'm not fond of her. Celest is the only one who wanted to be her friend." Is that how they always think of me?

I never I was hated this much before. Well, another day, another eye-opening event I guess. I ignored them and walked to my brothers. "It's for Aurora," I stated. Leon was delighted and placed the barbecue meat on the plate.

"What's wrong sis? You look different." Simon could tell.

"Nothing much. It's just I finally know what kind of people that were around me for years before I went to Monarch." Simon was confused. "What do you mean sister?" He asked. I shake my head and smiled.

"It's old news now." I thanked them and went back to Aurora and the others.

"Look at this!" Celest's sister announced when she walked out of the house wearing some type of choker necklace. "It's beautiful! Thank you so much!" Aurora and the others smiled. "We're glad you like it. It took us a couple of hours to decide on which to give." Stella said.

"It's beautiful." Celest's sister looks happy.

"Luna, hear that, someone like the design you came up with. Be proud." Ophelia pokes on Luna's side. Wait, she designed them?!

"One of Luna's family business is a jewelry company. That piece she's wearing is made from a rare but genuine diamond." Aurora whispered at me. I can't believe they just give that to people easily!

"How ... much is it?" I whispered to Aurora.

"Not much. Around $8,000. It's quite a bargain." A bargain? For people like me to have that kind of money, I have to sell my kidney! "What's wrong Maya? You seem to be shooting dagger at your own friends." Aurora noticed how I reacted when that blabbermouth walked in.

They pretended to smile at me before looking at the gift around Celest sister's neck.

"It's nothing. Are you having fun?" I asked my grande soeur. "Yes. I do. Some of the parents even talked to me and told me they worked for the factory under the Heroux's name."

Celest touched my shoulder. "Is she even allowed to drink?" Celest suddenly asked us both. She pointed at Thea who's pouring a beer with my father and his friends. "Let her be." Aurora turned to look at Thea. "What's wrong with her?" I asked.

"It's all because of Braylin. She hates her guts more than anyone else. Thea is overly protective when it comes to her seeing me. Braylin tends to be such a gentlewoman and seduce her way to any girl or guy." Hmmm, about that, I asked my mom the part even Aura said popped her cherry.

I didn't expect it to be Aurora's virginity. The Scion actually lost her virginity to a royal!

"I heard what they say about us. Your friends that is." Aurora said while sipping her carbonated drink.

"You did? You even heard what they said about you all?" She nodded at my question. "It's better to be alone than to have a backstabbing friend. That's my motto." She winked.

"I just ignore them. It's not like I'm going back to the same school as them." Besides, I don't have the time to think about such trivial things.

"You know, Lady Harmony, your mother. She was the most refined lady of all. Even though she left the elite world but look at her, she still keeps her poise and etiquette as always. That's a true lady of Monarch."

I turned to my mother and smiled. "I want to be her when I'm older. She always so calm even though the situation is bad. I want her calmness and boldness." Aurora chuckled.

"You will have them both or even more once you graduated from Monarch. Who knows, you might be their next Scion before you graduate even." I'm not sure if that's what I want.

"Aurora dear.." Thea showed herself.

She took the empty seat next to Aurora and rest her head on her shoulder. "You don't have to go. I'm here just to hear you two talk about stuff." Thea said when she noticed I'm about to leave.

I sighed when I could hear the chattering of people judging these two. They seem to ignore it but I can't. I just can't let this slide. "What is your problem?" I finally voiced out my thought.

They both froze but smirked in the end. "Maya, don't be rude," Momma warned me. "Oh, nothing. We just never would've thought that someone from a prestigious academy and elite family could be in such relationship. That's all." They're getting on my nerve.

Momma sighed when she heard them.

"I don't see any problem for them to be this way." I spat. Aurora cleared her throat.

"Maya, my soeur shouldn't be rising your voice to other people. Calm yourself down. You're a lady after all. Not some annoying dodo bird." Aurora pretended to be shocked while covering her mouth.

"Oops.. sorry." Thea finally laughed at Aurora's comment. My so-called friends gasped and leave us alone.

"What a close minded bunch of bitches." Stella appeared out of nowhere. I noticed she lick her lips. "But, they never say no to the life of luxury, I have to say that much." Stella chuckled. "Don't tell me you just lure an innocent girl into your game?" Thea asked.

"Hey, I gave her a once in a lifetime opportunity. She can't say no to that." Stella shrugged. "Who is it?" I am curious. Stella looked around and pointed at Celest.

"Who would've thought she's quite a kisser." I dropped my jaw. "No way! What did you do to her?" Again Stella shrugging her shoulder.

"Nothing much. I promise her the life of luxury and .... $5,000 a month." She BOUGHT my best friend?!

"All she has to do is make me happy and she can have anything, everything that she wanted. Hell, I even let her enroll in Monarch if she wants to." She can do that!?

"But she said no. She can't leave the old school." Just how fast did she work?! I didn't even notice they both were gone.

"Did she just agreed or did she have her own condition for you to follow?" Aurora asked.

"Oh yeah, now that you mention it, she said to sponsor the school's sports festival. From the look of things the school is broke." Ahh. That school finally hit rock bottom.

"Why not just close it?" Thea suggested. "If they do, the student will have to commute to a farther school. That's why I'm thinking of buying the whole thing and make it as my own little playground." The hell Stella! I don't know how to react to that.

"You do that for a person you only met today?" I asked to make sure. "Why not? She's my romantic interest now. If that's all I have to do, that's fine with me. She seems nice too."

Wow. I will never understand how they could spend their money like a running river. "Hey, Celest." Stella smiled. Celest smiled back and ushered me to follow her somewhere.

"I'm sure she told you and the others?" I nodded.

"Am I whoring myself? Is what I did wrong?" Celest seems to regret it. "Are you regretting your decision?" She shakes her head no. "That's the thing! I don't even feel guilty for using her money like that. And all she asked back is to make her less lonely and make her happy. I feel so ..... I feel like I'm a bitch." She finally snapped.

"Just think about it this way. Hmm... she just Your grande soeur? The big sister who wanted to help you in any way she can. Anyway, is it true, the school is broke? How did you know?" I asked.

"Well, I'm in the student council. The president announced it and we're searching for a way to gain more money to hold the sports festival. The student does need some relaxing time."

"You're in luck because of those people.." I referring to Stella, Aurora, and Thea. "They're are discussing on how to take over the administration from the current principal." Celest didn't say anything.

"She was serious? I thought she was just telling me stuff like guys usually does." I chuckled. "Don't joke around those people. They will legit make it happen."

By now, Luna and Ophelia joining in the discussion. "If Luna joining in That's mean things about to get serious. I'm sure the school will have the festival. Don't you worry." Aurora suddenly facing me and waved for me to come to her. "Yes, my lady?" Aurora showed her phone to me.

"Is this the principal?" She asked when I looked at the screen. "Yea that's him. Why? What are you all planning to do?" I asked them all.

"Soon we will have a meeting regarding the school current BOD. Next, we will change the principal and replenish the school to its former glory." BOD? What the hell is that acronym stands for?

"You guys being serious now?" I can't believe they're serious!

"Yea. We're serious. Why not? We could change the education system for the commoner by doing this. It's all in the plan to rebirth the young generation of Esnaria." Don't tell me they going to put the same standard as Monarch.

Ruby suddenly appeared behind us and whispered on Aurora's ear. "How many hostages?" I heard Aurora said. Wait, hostages?!

"More than 20 people. Few kids as well. What should we do, Lady Aurora?" Eh... what's going on? Why does Ruby telling her all of this?

"It's all over the television. There's a hostage situation in one of the hotel own by the Heroux family." Celest pointed at the group of people watching the TV inside the house. I turned to Aurora who looks like she's thinking about the whole situation.

"Assemble the maids. Since it will take few hours for me to go back to the control room in the mansion, I need to do the commands from here."

Aurora faces Celest. "You do have an internet connection correct?" Celest nodded.

"All I need is a laptop and an internet connection." Celest nodded and went inside. "What do you want me to do?" Thea asked. "I want you to go to the hotel With your squad. Clean mission. No bloodshed." Thea smirked and nodded. She stood up and immediately went on her way.

Celest went out and present her laptop. "It's connected." Aurora thanked her. "Luna, hacked into the hotel security system. Find the specific floor where they held the hostages." Luna nodded at Aurora's command.

"Ruby, use the tablet and be my eyes and ears. I need the live update on what's going on." Ruby nodded.

"Fellow presidents, move your ass to the hotel right now. Deal with the damage accordingly. Soeurs, wait for my commands." Both presidents nodded and immediately went to the hotel. "I have no idea what's going on right now." The other soeurs chuckled.

"Maybe we didn't mention this before but Lady Aurora is in charge of the special force. They followed her command no question ask." I heard Aurora sighed.

"And this happened before the ball. What a joke this is. We need to deal with this atrocity before the royal member of the Malia comes to Esnaria." She seems calm enough.

But seriously, how influential Aurora is?
