I sucked in a breath as his hand creeps up my inner thigh, settling and teasing the edge of my underwear. He’s so close to that one spot, just one little nudge.
“Please.” I breathed, my hand slithering down to his belt. But before I could nudge it open, he grabs my arm and presses it above my head.
“Impatient girl.” He grins, his mouth teasingly hovering above mine. Then he moves, his lips gliding over my jaw and nibbling at that sensitive area behind my ear before whispering. “Baby, patient girls wait for permission. Patient girls get rewarded. Pateint girls get a good pounding from their man that’ll make them see stars all night long.”
My breaths were shallower now, heat pooling at my centre as I stared up at him.
Movement in the corner of my eye draws my attention away though, and I notice that the other three has welcomed themselves in the room as well.
One was leaning against wall, his legs crossed and looking excited to watch the show.
The other seating back in the chair, nursing a glass of amber liquid and looking like he was ready to rip heads off.
And the other… well the other was grinning by door – eyes heated like he was ready to join in any time.
As if I’d be that lucky. Not with all four of my mates.
Not tonight at least.
----------------------------------------------------------
Freya Rivers was born with a huge responsibility on her shoulders: to become the next female Alpha of the Blackmane pack after more than a century. She’s dedicated all 21 years of her life to live up to that responsibility, to live up to that destiny.
Which is why, when at the morning of her 21st birthday, the Moon Goddess presents her with not one but two true mates, her life quite literally fell into a tailspin. Then to add insult to injury, she finds another one... and then another one.
How many true mates can a girl exactly have? Because four might just be too much for Freya. Especially when they’re all possessive, and grouchy, and growling at her all the time. It’s too much right? Even though it feels so right when they touch her, it’s too much. At least that's what Freya thinks.
And now, they have to handle an escalating Rogue attack in the pack - attacks that seem to be targeting Freya specifically. So, when her life is put on the line and her four mates are ready to tear down the entire state just to ensure her safety, anything could happen.
Could Freya live long enough to ensure her role as the next Alpha and to save everyone she loves? Including the four boys she has to choose among, the four boys who makes her body feel surreal and her soul alight like it was on fire.
But how exactly will she choose? Especially when that bed that looks large enough to fit five people looks so darn appealing.
