Most warriors train in the training ground to the left of the pack house, along with young kids after their school hours. The sun was about to set, and the sky was turning pink. As Isolde reached the lake, she breathed in the fresh air and felt the movements of the baby inside her tummy. Every time she’s here, the baby becomes active, as if it also loves this place as much as its mother does. Isolde is due any day soon. Now, she can feel the baby more prominently, and she also has a feeling that it’s going to be a girl. Thinking this, the corners of her lips curved into a beautiful smile. They have been visiting this place since they became mates, and it’s their little secret place away from the world. They enjoy each other’s company and the beauty of nature here. At the entrance of the pack house, Ethan and Alaric met Magnus, the gamma of the pack. The three then talked about how Isolde was doing and went inside. They reached the Alpha's office where Lucian was sitting in his chair. The office was quite large, with Alaric's chair and desk at the center near the wall. A huge portrait of his family hung on the wall behind his chair. Both sides of the room were lined with cupboards containing files related to the pack, and the top shelves held his favorite books. Lucian is a bookworm, but due to his Alpha duties, he isn't able to read much. In front of his desk, there were two chairs and a sofa in the corner of the office. A big pile of files sat on his desk. As soon as he saw the trio, Lucian walked up to them and hugged Alaric, jokingly asking, "I thought you were dead since you've been irritating Isolde a lot. I was so worried about you, that I sent Ethan to look for you." "Come on, Lucian, you know Isolde loves me too much to do something like that," Alaric replied to his dear friend.
