I kissed my angel goodbye, now that our wolves have connected our bond grew even stronger, as did my love for her. The downside is, that being away from her was even harder. I had this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I shook it off as I drove out of the territory. She was home and she was safe, all I had to do was pick up her brother, and then I would have her back in my arms. Still, something felt off and I couldn’t put my finger on it.
