I groaned and tried to open my eyes but they felt so heavy as did my body. It felt like something heavy was laying on top of me or perhaps someone heavy. Jake! I tried to open my eyes again, it felt easier this time. I could feel my hair being stroked, I relaxed a bit knowing he was here. I tried to open my eyes one last time, this time was a success. As soon as my eyes opened, I shut them again, the lights were blinding.
I felt the bed shift, suddenly feeling cold, as strong shivers racked my body. It didn’t take long for me to feel the bed dip and strong arms encase me in warmth.
