I couldn’t go howling on the second full moon because of two things.
1. My son’s birthday was in two days’ time, I had to get things ready
2. Kelsi, who I would have gone with was not my best friend any more. At least for now.
When we left the party, I didn’t spare words in telling Kelsi how disappointed I was of her. I had been giving her signs to shut the f**k up but she kept speaking. Of what use was she as my best friend if she kept spilling my secrets to Chase. I mean I didn’t know him well enough. I can’t really trust him. So why was she a blabber mouth with him?
