Mates?

           Xander's POV

' I can sense mate I know she is here' Xavier says with a little to much of excitement he knows I don't want to find my mate just yet.

' I don't think she is here I can't smell her I don't feel anything'

' You know I wouldn't lie I'm telling you she is here!'

' Look Xavier I know you want her but I do not catch no scent of mate and there is no way she could be here and we not know who she is!'

' The moon Goddess has someone special in store for us.' with those last words he crawls back slowly to the back of my mind his mouth forming a grin. Xavier and I can sometimes be the total oppisite but without him I wouldn't have been able to be such a strong Alpha.

I'm walking around the ballroom once again for some stupid reason thinking about the last thing Xavier said I'm wiffing the air to see if my mate is actually in the room but nothing. Although I catch eye of a beautiful pale skinned girl she looks about my age she has a slight lost expresion in her face. She has curly dirty blonde hair upto her waist. A pear shape figure small breast but enough to enjoy, a thin waist but a nice amount of ass. She is wearing a dark blue flowing dress and she is shorter then Sara but not by much and nice sea blue eyes that compliment her dress very well. I'm about to head towards her when Sara stand in my way.

" Hey Xander still no luck finding your mate?"

" Nope but I think I found myself a nice night." I say with a sheepish grin on my face. She nods her head in dissaproval knowing exactly what I ment.

" And who will be the unlucky wolf?" she crosses her arms in front of her chest like if she is ready to scold me.

" That beautiful young lady over there if you get out of my way so I can go talk to her before she leaves." I notice Sara startle for a second.

" I think your father is looking for you why don't you find out what he wants first." she has never acted so nervous.

' She is hiding something and I think it has to do with that girl.' Xavier say drawing my attention once again to the girl.

" Sara get out of my way I know my father isn't looking for me he would have mind linked me already." I say using my Alpha tone she nods her head and steps aside.

" Fine" she says aloud startling me. " If you insist she is the girl I had told you I was bringing her name is Lyza." I've heard that name before but I don't remember from where. I start walkng towards her and once she notices she starts running in the  oppisite direction. I'm lost what is going on.

" Why did she run away?" I turn to Sara with a puzzled looked.

" I have no clue but I will go and look for her I promise to bring her back to you."

" Yes bring her to me I must know why she ran away meet me in my office with her I'm positive there is something you and her are hiding from me." I see her gulp and a ashamed look on her face.

            Lyza's POV

He was headed my way and the first thing that crossed my mind was to get out of there the fasted I could not knowing where to go I just simply step out of the mansion. If something where to happen at least it wouldn't be in front of so many people.

' Why did you run away from mate it was are chance to be with him.'

' He doesn't know we are his mate and now that he saw me when he finds out he will not be please of us one moment having no scent and the next we do.' she simply whimpers understanding that now everything is complicated.

" Lyza why did you run from the Alpha he is not pleased and now we have to meet him in his office because he thinks we are hiding something from him."

" I'm so sorry Sara for getting you caught up in all this." I lower my head 

" Don't worry so why did you run though?" I can't lie to her.

" Alpha Xander is my mate." I whisper while playing with my fingers she gasps in shock.

" What do we do now?" I ask in desesperation.

" The only thing we can do tell the truth and hope for the best outcome. Now come on he will not be happy if we take long."

We enter the house and make our way toward the living room on the far right end there are stair in spiral form which lead to the second floor once where up there is a long streched hall with mutliple door and at the end of that hall to the right starts another hall with more doors we make it to the end and are facing with the last door. Before Sara knocks she looks at me in shock.

" Is something wrong?"

" Your scent is back." I see slight fear across her face and before she could knock the door flys open.

" Mate!" It was him he grabs me by my wrist and drags me into the office. He pushes me to have me at arm distance still holding on to my shoulder.

" Why couldn't I smell you earlier!?" he yells leaving a ringing in my ear. Biting my lower lip I look down and start playing with my fingers.

" You will answer me when I speak to you?" He grows loudly

' Let me out I'm tired of people treating us like this.' I decide to let Emily speak since she is braver then me.

" First of all you are not my Alpha so I do not have to follow your orders, secondly that is no way to treat you mate Lyza is a very kind sensitive women but if you mess with her you obiously mess with me." I love Emily she is so straight and up front most wolf will melt to there mates feet but not her she is tough.

" What is your name and what are you doing here?" He ask in a slightly lower tone then earlier.

" I am Emily, Lyza's wolf." She says proud and confident. " And I am here like everyone else is to see if I would find my mate and well I did but to my luck he is an ass." a smirk on her face due to the last part. A Loud growl escapes his mouth.

" How dare you insult me. I didn't want to even find my mate and now I'm stuck with you." he scoffs " Now why didn't you have a scent earlier and the truth?" with that Emily turns back to me.

' Your turn' my voice sounds a little softer then her so its easy to notice the differences.

I turn toward Sara who is at the door and think to myself that I cannot involve her in this just incase there are consequences.

" Before I tell you the truth I want you to understand that Sara was not aware of much and she did this as a favor to her cousin if there are any consequenses I'm willing to accept them all. He nods which lets me understand that Sara is safe from any harm. " My name is Lyza Marie I am the daughter of Laura Velez." He grabs me by the throat and slams me to the wall. Great someone else who will beat me is all I can think of and the worse part is that he is my mate.
