Schools out for the weekend. Cameron was waiting for me by his car as usual and I saw Damien standing next to his car as well. I walk over to Cameron and give him a hug then Damien strolls over and asks what there is to do around town. Cameron and I told him we usually watch a movie on Friday night and have ice cream afterwards. Saturday we report to our training ground for training. We all chatted for a few minutes and decided we’d meet at the theater after dinner.
Cameron and I walk in my front door to be greeted by my mom. “Hey kids how was your day?” she says. We both say it was good. She asked us if anything interesting happened and we told her we had a new student. “Really” she says. We nod our heads and tell her about Damien. She told us to invite to dinner sometime and we said sure. We ate our dinner and headed out to meet Damien at the theater. We looked at the list of movies to try and decide what we wanted to see and we agreed on seeing Five Finger Death Punch.
We walk up to the concession stand and we each tell the cashier what we’d like and head in to get our seats. Cameron and I always sit near the back because we get a better view. The three of us found our seats and enjoyed the movie. Once the movie ended we all walked across the streets to the local ice cream parlor and were greeted by a petite blonde girl whose name tag said Vanessa on it. “I’ll have a double scoop on a waffle cone with Butter Pecan and Vanilla with sprinkles” I say.
Cameron walks up and says “I’ll have a double scoop on a chocolate dipped cone with Vanilla and mint chip please.” Damien steps up to the counter. “May I please get a single scoop of cookie dough on a waffle cone with chocolate drizzle please,” he says. The young lady says coming right up. “Your total is 5.50” she tells us and we all put in our money for our order. “What brought you to our pack?” I ask Damien. He reply’s “My dad has family here and our old pack was destroyed by Rogue wolves.” I look at Cameron then back to Damien “I’m sorry to hear that, is everyone alright?”
