The Truth Revealed

Mom and dad nod their heads saying that I can tell Cameron my secret. I take a deep breath and look at Cameron. “The thing is I am afraid of being rejected by my mate because I’m not just a witch and werewolf. “ I say. Cameron looks at me and replies “what do you mean you aren’t just a wolf and witch? I don’t understand.” I take another deep breath and sigh. “I am what most would call a tribrid Cam, not only am a wolf but also a witch and vampire.” I say.

“I don’t understand what do you mean you are also a vampire? How is that possible?” He says. I reply to him with concern on my face. “I mean my mom is a witch and vampire and my dad is a werewolf so that makes me a werewolf, vampire and witch. My vampire gene just hasn’t kicked in yet.” Cameron looks at me then to my parents and says “There is nothing wrong about you being a tribrid. I accept you as my friend no matter what and any man would be lucky to have you as his mate for life.” I reply “Thank you Cam that means a lot to me. You are my best friend and are always by my side.”

We both look at my parents and then we continue our conversation. Dad says, “So it will be a big party outside the pack house where the alpha invites the neighboring packs and covens. He wants it to be a birthday, and coming of mating age party.” Cameron and I look at each other then to my parents and say “Okay” in unison. I look at dad and ask “Do you think the alpha will have live music or a DJ for us to dance to?” Dad looks at me then to Cameron and asks “ What would you like and I can ask him?” Cameron looks at me and I at him and we nod then say”A DJ” at the exact same time. My parents both laugh and say okay they will talk to Alpha Jason. Cameron bids us all a good night and says he’ll pick me up for school in the morning.
